Bad title, but hes getting better, hopefully he will migrate away from the "fanboy" topics for a bit...Would like some links to his claims though.

Not anymore so then reading a book, watching a movie, or hearing a story.

Unless he was spotting running around with a knife, btching about hackers, or complaining about how he couldn't get a sniper, then we can pretty much be sure this was not counter-strike induced.

The whole thing is asinine. It carries about as much credence as saying "table tennis was the cause, the focus techniques he learned on the court caused his brain to be turned into the perfect killing machine". No doubt someone will turn this into a news story about how the boy...

No its very real...unlike the myth that sarcasm can be conveyed on the internet.

Ohh no someone didn't like Killzone 2, better get to crucifying him...

Anyway House of the Dead, was a fun game, and I must not be a "Rail-shooter" veteran, because I had some troubles going through it by myself.

To you pointless morons above me arguing about "the most powerful/superior game" Ill help you by throwing some credence and reference to your asinine bickering.

@LeonSKennedy4Life

I hope you were talking about the PC version...

HOW??

How would something like that happen?
It came out for 360 and PC first, made more money on the PC and 360 , the PS3 version was released almost a full year later then the PC and 360, its easier to develop for Xbox and PC and the, and it scored higher on the PC and Xbox.
How in gods glorious name, does it make sense for the PS3 to get it before the PC and 360?

Its probably going to be a timed exclusive, and unless something drastic happens, That's w...

Well considering we love rumors here at N4G, I expect this to hit into the thousands temp and into hundreds of comments.

Its not confirmed yet to be exclusive, they have pretty much said its timed...put your pants back on fanboys, there's nothing to gawk at here.

Really?? This is the most popular article today......
and my respect for N4G continues to decline

If you even glanced at the back of the Box, you would know instantly that it's not a traditional Halo game.

The only people who will mistake Halo Wars for a Halo FPS, are the same people who pick up the collectors edition because they think its a different game then the original,

yea there's this little thing called journalist integrity, the larger the corporation, the more is at steak, the more pressure is put on the journalist to be professional.

The difference between IGN and Joe blogger is accountability. If Joe makes a ridicules claim, that turns out to be false, or a blatant lie, nothing bad happens to him. Sure he may loose a few viewers, but that's a relatively small price to pay. Inversely if a writer from IGN makes an article that's false or a b...

Unless you live in a hole, are a massive halo fan, saw the word halo, picked up the game, stealth-fully avoiding the back or paying to much attention to the cover, quickly bought the game without asking a single question to the internet or the cashier and was able to avoid the back of the box while you were unwrapping it...then only then could someone mix it up.

And even still, they're left with possibly the Best console RTS to date(not much of an award, but hay you take what you...

Yes...yes I do.

I don't put a time limit on creativity. This goes either way, a half-assed mod for HL1 could be the next big thing(aka Counter Strike) or it could be the 11 years in development game with the pockets of a huge corporation (aka starcraft 2, or Half-Life 2)

If you were looking for graphics and hours upon hours of medium to low quality content, then you were looking in the wrong place. L4D was a game that was meant to be played with friends, and meant to be played on over and over again. If you didnt attempt to get all the achievements, or at least beat the game on expert, you obviously were not getting your moneys worth.

@GreatTeacherOnizuka
L4D dlc was announced a while ago

No they're just looking for hits. Any site that attacks L4D, and turns around to plop a 5 on KZ is Just searching for hits.

Its the unfortunate side effect of the internet: Views = Advertisement Advertisement = Money

So anything that can generate views is going to get them money, the easiest way to do that is post absurd articles and let the fanboys flock to you.

Not really, The Ai director makes multiple playthroughs bearable, and the scaling difficulties make the game have a lasting appeal. Also there's the aforementioned DLC making its appearance in the spring, and since I bought both the Xbox and PC version(thanks to a steam sale) I will also have access to the mods, many of which are already In development.

Personally the quality over quantity mantra at Valve Is a step In an overall good direction.
