If L4D is your most overrated game of 2008 then you really need to reassess your standards.

From the article and a quick Google search, the smaller company seems to be grasping at straws. They apparently never infringed upon the design, and the purpose of the devices were, while mildly related in purpose, actually have quite different functions. Its like comparing a pencil and a pen, yes they both write, but they are completely different in design, and write with different materials.

Umm I actually liked killzone, granted I dont feel the need to declare its praises from the heavens, but its easily one of the better shooters to come along in the past few years.
1st person cover was only in campaign, and for the majority of the campaign I barely used it. Regardless of usage its still a minor role and does little to change how the game is played, because it simply changes from weather your stuck to a wall or not.

The games are so similar in game style that neither can really claim dominance. They're both great games so deal with it.
