No one needs to put a Linux kernel on a new computer because open source is...free, so packaging it in with a new computer is like saying you get the air that comes in the box.
If people want Linux its only a few clicks away and it wont cost you a dime. So packaging Windows in with a PC is something to talk about because windows costs money, while Linux does not.

The Wii Isn't rubbish, just the fact that Nintendo left its hardcore with little or no games to play. Many feel betrayed by the fact that Nintendo would rather release shovel-ware and wii music instead of games with depth and non-gimmicky gameplay.

Many "exclusives" are an excuse for a dev to get popularity where its not deserved. I mean look at the hype surrounding games like "Lost planet", "perfect dark zero", and "Uncharted".

I have noticed your point as well, where It requires alot more time to set up a shot from a distance, but if done correctly, its still effective, however I think the real difference In COD and KZ matches is the mid distance combat, In Killzone Middle distance combat is a little harder to pull of because you dont have the all important "time", Normally In a middle range situation I either run at them firing from the hip, or run away to surprise them with a grenade.

Well even though it might sound a tad bit xenophobic, I have a sneaking suspicion the the Asian market hates the west. Name one product(preferably game related) that has been widely accepted by them, and has been made In a western country.
