I think that Kotaku article was about a quote from a Microsoft employee(I could be wrong) so it wasn't really as bad as this one, which was just a one paragrpah article from a Nintendo fan site that had no other purpose then to state the obvious and attract fanboys.

Sure exclusives can hurt a console, but if the yearly line up is good enough for multiplat I wouldn't say it will hurt them.
Obviously exclusives mean very little to anyone unless they have the majority of the populous on board games like (KZ, Halo, GofW) because if we all really cared about exclusives we would all be typing from expensive gaming computers.

Its a joke people, thats what yahtzee does, he whines and cries about the flaws of a game, throws a few modern subjects in there, and the result is a funny and entertaining review of a game.
Sure his reviews are literally a list of "what could the faults of this game possibly be", and hes more likely to border on the verge of tasteless humor then not, but just roll with it, its funny its supposed to be funny, its not serious, so don't take it that way.
