Good list, wish there was some way to attach these to copies of L4D.
Id like to call THIS to everyone's attention.
You know the thing you quickly skim over before posting your hate speeches

Ive checked the "date Manufactured" on most electrical systems I have bought. Doesn't seem like to much of a stress to check for a label.
but maybe Im just a freak.
@3sp
You see the Wii may not be a "next-Gen" console, and even though its game line-up leaves much to be desired, its not something to be tossed aside.
The fact of the matter is the Wii has sold incredibly well in the past few years, and as such is something many Dev teams are going to emulate. It has literally become the UNDESERVED king of console gaming. Although its a piss poor system, nither the Xbox or the Ps3 are going to easily top it.

Well yes gold members are paying for the servers they play on, they don't necessarily cover the "download aspect of games"
You see I don't really want to defend Microsoft on this because it is a real fault of theirs to try and charge you, just cause they can,
but it really is a incredibly good business strategy.
You see when Microsoft requires a fee for people to buy the product, it elevates the fee the game developer would normal...
I think the Wii might have a word about that...but sony is on the rise
They can if they own there servers or work an agreement with Microsoft.
but its really unnecessary for such a trivial thing as a theme...
Well it wouldn't be a problem if MS didn't have to pay for bandwidth, and overhead.
But yea Its kind of dumb to have to pay for something that the developer wants to be free.
There is a reason she couldn't become a prostitute...(hint: its between her crotch.)
It looks like it could be the next step in gaming, just because its practical and relatively cheap ($150 on tiger direct). It looks nice and if I can find out if its supported on other games like L4D, or Team fortress, i will most certainly purchase.
Like it said in the article, If it were to go to the Xbox as well as PC I think it would gain a name for itself, across the board
although I would like to use it on a PS3 too,
No this whole thing is fanboy dribble, Its just a marketing scheme.
Because the more people you get to think HALO, is less people who are thinking about KILLZONE.
Simple but effective, and while it may not hurt any serious gamers, it will hurt the more oblivious buyers.
Killzone has the limelight (and rightfully so), but to not acknowledge other releases is asinine at best.
RTS games have been quite popular in the past i,e, Starcraft and age of empires 2. RTS is by no means a dead genera, and a game being made by the creators of AOE2 is obviously not going to be terrible game, and with the HALO sticker it will sell well.
Its really sad the common argument here seems to be either say "DLC doesn't count", and "no one li...
EROTIC resident evil 5 HENTAI HERE I COME!!!
Im sorry Killzone looks good (no doubt there) but Im almost positive that Crysis is better, just because of the relative technical specs of the PC and the Ps3. Its Hard for a console game to contend with a PC with ease of programing, and computing power.
While Im looking forward to Killzone 2, I don't think Im going to be as impressed as I was with Crysis.
While I obviously don't share the enthusiasm of the LBP series as the lad above me with the multi-paragraph essay on the justification of LBP. I can say that little big planet was nothing short of a steller game, but to run around and throw buzz words attached to it, is overselling it to say the least. LBP was good but not for the same reasons most video games are deemed fun. LBP was an attempt to tap into the outside market of casual games, without alienating the hardcore. So they created a ...
Wow someone else in the world who played Logos. I don't know if you could consider that a game, but I do loathe that turtle.
On a serious note It does seem rather odd that a Microsoft developed game comes out a few short months after LBP, and I'm sure the relative success of that game probably helped egg them on. Unfortunately games take quite a while to make(especially ones where customization is a big element)so I doubt they are directly related.
Also let's not for...
@MaximusPrime
Why the protection plan is a "add-on" and a good majority of gift givers don't know the details, im assuming most of the people reading this are fairly knowledgeable on the details of a console purchase, and are not going to simply not know about what a warranty/protection plan is.
On the flip side if you are given a gift, or buying a used console, you loose the ground to complain because the reason your getting a free or cheaper console, is b...
Is there a word more intense then psyched...because if there is, I want to use it.
@oner
Well I normally would have agreed with you, but I have recently tracked Ultimolu and viewed quite a few of his/her comments only to find that Ultimolu deserves the comments against him/her. Ultimolu is a fanboy/girl in the most literal sense of the word, and it really surprises me how this persons account is still active.
On almost every comment they have posted the themes of bashing Microsoft and raising up the Ps3 have been the only thoughts on Ultimolu's agenda. <...
