If your not concentrating on the games, and your focusing on the console, you need to find a new hobby.
Why cant these be the blogs that N4G posts so regularly. Its nice to see something thats not HHG bs, or a blogger ranting on "the evils of Sony". We're gamers we play games to have fun, and pick up chicks(that last one is seldom upheld) I don't start up my Wii so I can say how awesome SSBB is, I start it up so I can play a F_cking game.
Still its not news, though I prefer it over the normal banter.

Its several months old, and no onw except fanboys care about how much a certain console sells in a certain country.
Your acting as if this is somehow a bad thing.
Granted its nothing large scale, its not a new game, its not a new feature, but it is a company making accommodations for its customers,
and I cant really say thats a bad thing in any sense.
It cant be a bad thing that M$ is reaching out to the community, but I would be more enthused if it was an announcement for a new game.
The fact of the matter is, that if you care about this article at all, your most likely a fanboy.
I clicked on it thinking "Hay, RE is selling well, I didnt think it would be doing this good",
not "this means xbox kicks ass" or "this is nothing compared to sony game X"
You people need to stop caring about exclusives games and console sales,
and you need to start caring about games as a whole.

Even, though I've visited N4G for a while, Im begging to think anyone who actually likes ALL games and not just exclusives, really has no place here at N4G.
This show lacks luster, and he needs to create an outline for his shows because he seems to drone on. He makes a good point, and although he doesn't have a 360, hes still seems pretty levelheaded. I hope the show improves over the next few episodes, and I hope he stays as far away from the HHG as possible.

If you dont want to support their DLC, don't buy the DLC. That will convey the message that you "dont want them to tack on extra content". However, buying the game itself, will help create a stark contrast for the Dev teams to ponder over.

The online wasn't bad? Where did you get the notion that it was?
The only major problems were a few glitches(all of witch were fixed in the first update, and all were a manipulation of the game mechanics, not an actual error in programing), and the restriction set on the NAT(also fixed in first update)
No developer can possibly anticipate every error in their game, games these days have so much content, and so many people will play them, that even things like an open...
You understand that lag is not the games problem but yours?
If you have a crappy connection with a closed NAT, then when you start to join a set of matches, don't be surprised when a few games are laggy.
This rule stays in place even with a dedicated server, because if your connection is bad, it doesn't matter how good the server's is, your still going to lag.
If your serious about online play, then you should dedicate time to locating the correct service plan...
While I have relatively enjoyed our bickering, I must attend to my life.
So my closing points:
The main thing we disagree on is the progression of technological implementation, I for one think it will be a steady change following the 15 to 20 year life cycle of previous technologies, while you think it will progress at a slightly elevated rate because of public interest.

My argument is not one of possibility over practicality.
No developer is going to be swayed by disc size alone. Sure a dev may switch their media distribution if its a viable option, but they are never going to stop producing something if they have to use more then one disc.
What Im arguing is not if DVD is better then blue-ray, but that it doesn't really matter. The caps of both discs have work-arounds, and both are just as easy to justify the use of.

Well not to rain on anyone's parade but the PC (the most advanced gaming platform by default) seems to lack a blue-ray player. I highly doubt Increased disk size is really going to sway any developers, when it seems to have bothered relatively few developers in the past.
There is also the side effect with inevitable larger games, to transmit more data at a faster speed, In this sense the traditional DVD is actually significantly faster then a blue ray. Especially with the Xbox's ...
Sony likes to announce Its games up front, so I suspect there will be minimal game announcements during the year. This is by no means bad because the PS3 already has a strong lineup.

Because if not your saying that the jobs and wellbeing of hardworking employees, is justifiable so that you can have bragging rights, because you already own a PS3 and I can't imagine any other reason why you would be at all enthused at the idea.
I really hope thats not the reason Sony is cutting employees, because many annalists have said a price cut, unless its to 200 or 250 dollars, is not going to have that substantial of an effect on sal...
