It's been documented that in the 1st two years 70% + of 360's died. That is the time frame that had the 360 ahead by 8 million units. Since then Sony closed and passed the gap plus keep in mind that it took around 4 years into the 360's life cycle before the failure rate went to acceptable levels.
With those things in mind the 360 has been behind the PS3 since about 3 years in...many 360 consumers just don't understand basi...

Wow so all of you above have never played the game or even understand that none of the DLC was on disc...you all epic fail.
Each of the DLC added new armor and weapon sets, bosses that were really cool and even added to the mythology of the DS universe.

If you played the demo you you know there are many and I do mean many nods to the previous entries. Codec is still in tact. Each of the new cast simply performs a function that others did in older titles like Borris is the new Campbell.

The reality is Capcom's biggest misstep was looking to a western developer to play lead on DmC for character and set pieces. What they should have done is called in Ninja Theory to help them with the story portion an keep the in house team to work on the game assets.
Reboots work a whole lot better if they feel like previous games but with the weakest links being fixed and with the whole Devil May Cry IP it would always have to be the story.

The only reason Kojima wanted to do a Grey Fox story is because he wanted to dive into earlier roots of the series which while fun...don't really grow the franchise but simply clarify previous events with outcomes that we already know.

All of the press that have played the near final build with several hours of game play under their belts say that it's an amazingly dark story with the MG humor sprinkled in.
