Right now it's become very popular to hate on everything in the industry...cool new game instant hate, cool new console instant hate. I'm tired of these types of gamers...they just need to go and it's up to us who are actually here to promote the great things going on in the industry to the non-gaming community.
A lot of the "press" do this hate but then the sites/or magazines hide behind the well it's just their opinion. When it comes from large out...
@Carl
I'm sorry we all can't be like you and hate every game that comes out. Guess what...look at all of the comments saying that I'm right so I guess you're in the minority here.
@carl
I still own the ps1 titles rebought them on PSN and been a day one buyer of the series since the very beginning. I bought a Gamecube just for the RE1 remake hell i even own ORC.
You can act like im knew to the serious but that just means you live your life by assumptions.
Carl heres the thing real fans since day one are sick of gamers like you who think games should stay the same for ever...go by the next Mario or CoD if thats what your about. ...
Ben also wants us to believe that 7 years in and he still uses his 60 gig HD...really I'm gamer with a budget and I upgraded my fat 2 years ago because of space issues and it was the 60 gig. This is just his way of making it sound like bigger HD's are nothing a $60 game and another game equate to nothing...
...Ben epic fail buddy...epic fail
You guys do realize who the author is right..used to be at Ars Techina. This is the guy who feels that only people who work for big sites should be allowed large events like E3 and everyone else should pretty much stop.
This cat has and always will be the anti gamer and the hit craving member of the broken part of the press!
He's been called out for his activity in the past and refuses to confront any claims that question his integrity and his standing a...
@DMS
God awful controls...wow you must be joking the controls are simple, easy to pick up and master, cover is simple...using the brandish button while up against a wall makes the transition from firing outside of cover to taking cover while walking super smooth.
You need to take some more time with the mechanics because i was kicking ass since the first demo came out.
Also you show you don't know the roots of the series the bio threats of massive...
@Copy
Actually if you have been following the series from the very beginning the original T-Virus was designed as a bio weapon that would bring back the dead. As Umbrella made superior versions in part 2 and 3 they started to weaponize it think Mr.X and the Tyrant. All of this was leading up to undead soldiers.
Like I said this path was laid out from the very beginning of the franchise...knowing the history of the series helps you to better understand why the changes...
@Aeon
Actually your not it's been in the top 100 on Amazon's pre-order list for over a month and currently sits at number 17.
True fans of the series are loving it and the loud mouth haters make it seem like they won't buy it and that it sucks. Truth is they will buy it and it doesn't suck.
In all my years here and on other gaming social sites I've come to find that roughly 90% of comments come from people who can't afford the ...
Sweet :) I love new IP's
I miss JRPG's so much...WTF happened this gen where did they all go. Damn FPS's took over and nothing really different ever seems to come out thanks to all you new casual gamers who get turned out by CoD...I don't mind a shooter but man it seems like they killed great JRPG's.
Will I be able to pull it on my Vita...
I agree there are different levels of gamers and I usually break them down into two groups casual who are new to the gaming scene, less informed on the gaming industry and are less driven towards open conversation about how involved gaming is in their lives. Then there is core gamers, they eat, sleep and breath anything gaming. The core gamer knows what TGS is and knows who the development team and key individuals from the industry are. The core gamer is very passionate about gaming and will ...
I think DCUO says that they do since the title keeps expanding and is really fun
Sounds pretty cool.
If there is a 500 gig for less than the current models I'll pick one up when I get my Wii U. My fat is starting to get some weird graphics issues...polygons stretching, weird textures (white) and flashing textures. I guess it's time to upgrade to the latest and greatest.
It's still to early to tell at least for me. From what we've seen this gen all of the platforms have very similar ideas like unity of all media platforms, social networking and dominating the living room space.
Each has taken a different approach but by next year we should have a better picture as to what MS and Sony are planning.
I know a ton of gamer's going crazy for Borderlands 2.
FF7 is one of my favs of course
Goes to show that kickstarters are the new kid on the block.itd good to hear they beat there goal by a considerable amount.
I'm keeping a close eye on this just because I'm a huge DC fan and I like the way they are taking twists with the mythology.
