To be honest I have never heard of any of those games before...hell some of those are chip games...um okay whatever not my thing.
I was talking more like AAA titles that are also sold in retail or at least considered high quality digital titles along the lines of Journey or Shank.

So exactly how many free games has XBLG given you over the past 5 years or so? I know PSN+ has given me a shit ton of small and large titles.
Yeah okay I can't cross game chat...don't really need it so much since I prefer single player games mainly and I like to have all of my attention invested into those games.

2)Attach rate for 360 is only killer on a handful of IP's...2 exclusives and to multiplats

Devs and pubs...they make games so a console built for multimedia driven focus with gaming as just one of those features dont really benefit unless it kills in the sales department because it opens up the chance of selling more units.

the reality is most people have a ton of connected devices in their house already i for one have content shared between my phone, tablet, tv, pc and consoles...so do i need another device that is another jack of all trades but a master of none.

Reality is Capcoms not that bad...broke gamers just feel that they are entitled to get everything for free.
New age gamer: dlc free, expansions free, cut content free, new skins free, new weapons free, dedicated servers free yep everything free free free.
New age gamers dont like to pay...look at pc prices and whats happened...torrent sites for stolen games.
This isn't about what Sony did this is about the punishment for an individual who committed a very serious crime. Credit/Id theft can take years to repair in many cases and if you have a family or are going to school can totally stop everything going on in that persons life...if they have family even more people are then affected.

Name 1 true AAA game that didnt have cinematic values? To be good no to be great yeah...its called being the complete package. Its the reason why the God of War games have sold and review better than games that dont have the cinematic extras.
Games dont need to be movies but they must be immersive which is cinematic value helps greatly. The highest rated games of all time are praised for their top tier cinematic values.

I dont think youve ever played a console game...built for a console...they are just better which is why real gamers own consoles.
PC games built for PC are very static with little to no cinematic value in the actual gameplay. Instead they focus more on tech and deep convoluted lore.
Gamers want immersion which is why console gaming is a better business than PC gaming...because true immersion is found in games built for consoles.
I dont think people grasp how big of a deal this feature is.
Easy things all done at once.
1. Record video and commentary...no syncing clips or video editing
2. Upload to youtube facebook and ustream...yeah nothing else does all at the same time
3. Live streaming with more than just friends with no pc
All of these are a pain in the ass to do right now just by themselves and time consuming...so yeah its revolutionary and anyone who says...
Yeah i dont think you really are a core gamer who is part of gaming culture or communities.
Here is why Youtube lets plays and live streaming gaming is huge and a multimillion dollar generating business. The issue though has always been you need a pc, capture device, camera, editing software and most importantly time to do everything.
With the PS4 all this changes with a press of a button...and its that simple. Being able to share content and connect with oth...

They only showed it to demonstrate how quick and easy it was for epic to get UE 4 running on PS4 in a matter of a couple of weeks...not to show that it was rivaling PC performance because that will take optimization and even then PS4 wont match 100% of course

So the term video game is something of an old term from back in the 80's that needs to go away. All video games are now a days are essentially interactive video media. Calling it a game implies winning and losing and that it is for children.
