I agree 100%. I own both consoles, they are closer than most claim and other than resolution the games look about same generally having the same assets. CPus similar, but the GPU in the PS4 is the difference as it has almost double the the performance as the GPU in the X1. That is the difference.
If u r into Nintendo games it should be a no brainer, but since I am not into those not so much now, I will wait and see, cause we know nothing about the console so far. The console isn't coming out in 16 given Nintendo's previous history on releasing consoles, which typically has been showcase the console @ E3, then release 10-15 months later.
We don't know what their costs are on the units so I don't know how anyone would know what the units should sell for. If they cost $450-500 or more, to make they are in business not to lose money, so it will be tough to sell at $400.
There is noway it is going to be $400
Well, MS is not pulling a Sega. Sega was broke, MS's fortunes don't lie with the Xbox brand, and we certainly need competition. We all agree, the X1 will not catch the PS4, but some of you cheerleaders make some ridiculous comments. MS is doing okay with the X1, at near or better level than at the same time with the 360, so they need to continue on the current path. The console market is great when there are 3 competing platforms, but I guess some are going to hate on MS no matter...
Well, I think games should be whatever the dev makes them to be. Gamers will decide by their purchare dollars..
Are we not over this at this point. Who thought the X1 was going to outsell the PS4? Now, I am one who really doesn't care about the numbers or who is in 1st 2nd 3rd, but, of course the PS4 outsold the X1 much like it has from jump, reality is MS is not going to make up the gap with the PS4, but they should continue working hard for us gamers cause I love how the console is setup, apps, live tv, soon dvr support, external hdd support, its operating system, updates, so I am totally fine ...
Meh, I have no interest to play PS2 games, certainly not paying again, now that I think about it all my PS2 games are in a box with my PS2, but hey if gamers will pay to play em, well, Sony will gladly take your money, again, again, and again, not getting mine again, but I guess the point here is for those who have not played the games, who may find this a good deal.
Where do these topics come from? MS blew its chance before they had ever released the console. Although, I own all the consoles I prefer the Xbox, but lets be real here, given love the PS4 received from devs and the gaming community, from day 1, there is nothing MS can do to catch Sony. They made mistakes that would bury normal videogame companies, so at this point, MS just needs to keep doing what they are doing. They are ahead of where they were with the 360 at this time, and they can c...
Come on, for the love of you, MS paid for it, that is how it works, which was a good move for MS to keep it off Sony's platform in the near future. Do you not see that?
Was it a mistake, no. Not from MS's standpoint, they got the game out on their platform a year ahead of it coming to the PS4, PC version coming out this month, so no, it is a great game, sold about 1million, so as far as I am concerned, no it was not a mistake. I find it hilarious some are again questioning this because it is timed exclusive to the Xbox, and just another attempt to bash MS and their platform. If fortunes were reversed, no one would be saying it was a mistake if the game...
Well, Rockstar is not going to approve Red Dead for BC so if you want to play, you will have to play it on the 360 as intended.
I say do. As a gamer who is still playing the Super Nes, and has owned every Nintendo console, I would like to see Nintendo back with the NX. The Wiiu is all but dead, and the console market thrives when all 3 console makers are doing well, so in 2016, I hope Nintendo gets the NX out with decent specs and 3rd party support, also online support.
Well, you don't get pick opponents for the PS4, so depending what NX is, Wiiu is all but out to pasture, there is no other console competition for the PS. The X1 may not sell as much as the 4 but MS is on pace or better compared to where they were at this time with the 360 so they just need to continue with that, and given how they started this gen that in itself is impressive.
Sony is a different company than MS. MS probably makes little money on the Xbox, and their platform is mainly pc operating systems, so like I said, I saw this coming, good for MS. I don't expect Sony to do the same.
A great game, should be on as many platforms as possible. I am fine with the X1 version, & PC gamers should really enjoy the game especially the enhanced features..
Seems like a win win to me. Everything MS has done, integrating the Xbox, has lead me to believe going forward they were going Xbox and Windows PC. Surely, others saw this.
MS is back from holiday break, and getting back to work. Thank you...
Awesome, I love the game. What next, well, more sales on PC, & PS4, so how is this a bad thing?
I was talking about consoles
