I wouldn't call anyone an idiot for buying these cards for gaming, especially at higher resolutions and/or with multiple monitors. NVIDIA Quadro cards are much more practical for workstation PCs.
Oh, so that's the excuse now, huh? Thus, if Destiny was an X1 exclusive it would matter, but since it's on practically everything, X1 owners couldn't care less?
Something tells me most X1 fans wouldn't agree with you - and for a good reason!
The PS4 DID fly off the shelves at launch, though (and will begin to do so once more in 2015).
The X1, however, was never going to be a big success here. It's as if people expected something else, though. Not sure why.
People probably misunderstood (unlikely), or are that out of touch with the reality of the current market. Glad you have some sense, though!
Of course, and then that will be topped when Advanced Warfare drops.
@ jts1891:
Nice spin, except that I never said it was the only incident. Again, your fingers are firmly in your ears., so there's no point in discussing it further with you.
P.S. Speaking of people agreeing with you, seems even level-headed Xbox fans don't. Good for them, as it's not all about a "war" for many of us.
@ jts1891:
I remember Call of Duty 4's issues with Xbox LIVE during Holiday 2007. For two weeks straight, I had problems joining matches, sending messages, and accessing the marketplace. It happens, but I guess that doesn't matter to you. If it's PSN, there's: "a problem". If it's Xbox, you put your fingers in your ears.
@ Neonridr: Don't know. I've not noticed any serious network issue with PSN vs LIVE, especially not o...
I'm online right now. Exactly what "down time" are we talking about here? I should NEVER have problems on Xbox, going by your thinking, but alas, at times I do, especially when big games release. These things happen.
Then sell it. No one will stop you or try to stop you, but for reference, I've had plenty of network issues on both Xbox and PlayStation. But then, some of us don't try to spin it as a one-sided issue, either.
OT: PSN is currently working fine for me. Only had slight problems last week.
Um, how can you close a gap when your competition sells MORE THAN YOU?! Sony would have to stop selling consoles for them to keep it close. I don't get why THAT simple concept flies over you like the birds of the world.
They're getting beat in territories they are in. They have to change that BEFORE we even get to places they're just about to release in. If you weren't out of bubbles, I'd ask you to explain it mathematically, but since I already know the a...
Things can change, but if you think the X1 will suddenly pull out a win, especially banking on the turnaround to happen from Europe, I think you're going to be in for quite a shock. Sony would have to, literally, hand Microsoft the gen. As in, not sell another PS4 unit starting with right now.
Since that's not going to happen, I won't begin the task of twiddling my thumbs hoping for a victory over PS4. I'd accept the X1 for what it is and know that it won'...
Again, how can they close the gap when they aren't even doing better than the PS4 in the countries the X1 is available in? Someone please explain this thinking to me - it makes absolutely no sense at all.
Unfortunately for you, it won't do either. It's already getting outsold in the countries that will matter most. Why people think anything's going to suddenly change is beyond me.
It's PlayStation exclusive.
OT: Looked good! Will import, if need be!
That was the idea. Knock out all the Western stuff first, then close out with what the Japanese want. It wasn't meant to be an entertainment show for Western audiences.
"Thanks for the input, Jeff".
OT: My 2nd most anticipated game, at the moment! I liked that they upped the visuals and style - like the game matured a bit! Can't wait!
Your personal perception != the game was bad on PS3. And the differences this gen are not just graphical, but res AND frame-rate as well (some games as much as a 30fps difference).
The point stands.
In fairness, they also listened to customers before their financial problems (problems, mind you, that the PlayStation brand is not responsible for - at least, not anymore).
Third-ed! Excellent post, my friend!
The PS4's problem is completely different, though. It = lack of software. The X1 = lack of interest.
2015 will look VERY different for the PS4 in Japan. The X1, well, they may as well hang it up.
