I think the 360 has done just fine for itself in the game department. 2009 was little dry, but the PS3 has also had drier years.
2010 looks amazing for the 360.
Both companies just have different ways of getting good games on their console that's all. Sony buys up the studios whole hog and Microsoft tends to fund games on a game to game basis. Both approaches have advantages and disadvantages.
Looks nice. One of the games on PS3 that i am most looking forward to.
Check out this gameplay vid from Fahrenheit: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
After seeing what they were able to accomplish on the PS2 and Xbox it's no surprise what they are able to do on current gen hardware. Having played Fahrenheit I really wouldn't have expected anything less from the graphics using...
That's fine. I don't mind if people have a different opinion as me. I just don't like arrogant people who think that their opinion is a fact.
And judging by this video http://www.n4g.com/ViewComV... PSN is comprised of whinny teenage brats. "I can't do well at Modern Warfare 2 so it sucks"....oh boo hoo.
Nah, PS3 is ok, I just like the 360 better. Most ps3 exclusives are waaay overhyped. Uncharted 2 is one of the few that lived up to the hype. The 360 has most of the games I want to play.
Suuure, that's why PS3 fanboys are running around spewing crap on the internet all day. Because they have lives...riiiiight.
@AngryTypingGUy
Ha, ha, ha, that is ps3 fanboys to a tee. Whining and complaining about everything. He bought it for the PS3 btw. There's the PS3 fanbase in a nutshell.
(I'm only saying this because ps3 fanboys are saying some crazy and insulting things.)
I think what you said is true of the Wii and the handheld gamers, but I also think the 360 gamers spew a lot less BS than the ps3 fans.
PS3 fanboys are the worst, followed by the 360 fanboys, then followed by the Wii fanboys. People don't get too crazy over the handhelds it seems.
What an idiotic comment.
Yeah, out of disappointment.
(btw, I don't really think that, but it was just nonsense to counter your nonsense. Maybe he wanted a 360 and didn't want a PS3.)
There are just as many morons on PSN>
@wrathman
+1
I would rather have a console that is guaranteed for 3 years that now has a low failure rate, than a console that I would have to fork out big bucks to get fixed after a year if it has Blu-ray laser go out or gets the YLOD.
Of course you wouldn't, ps3 fanboy. I've had my 360 for almost 4 years with no problems. New ones have no more problems than the ps3 and maybe even less.
Halo Reach and Gears 3 will also be amazing looking games on the 360. I've heard that Epic have made some significant improvements to their Unreal 3 engine. It was already one of the best engines (at least in their hands) they just needed to implement a better lighting model.
Killzone 2 looks pretty damn good, but it is a little bit overrated in my book. Final Fantasy XIII looks good for a JRPG, but it is nowhere near being one of the best looking games. Resident Evil 5, Dead Space and Assassin's Creed all look better than FFXIII.
Out of the dozens and dozens of reviews for Killzone 2 how many of them explicitly stated that they thought the graphics were the best on consoles? It was just a couple.
The fact is, most reviewers and game journalists avoid directly stating that they feel one game looks better than another. It tends to cause problems and alienate segments of their readership, so most of them don't do it. I don't remember any articles claiming Uncharted 2 was the best looking game either based...
Hey guys, remember those leaked screenshots? Well, I think they compare pretty well to what was shown in the trailer and really show promise for the game. It looks like some of the landscape textures and geometry were just placeholders since it was an early build but you can clearly see the jump up in graphics.

Check out the gun model. Looks nice.
And to strike fear into the hearts of PS3 gamers, apparently.
No, theoretical performance numbers like how many FLOPS a processor can do are next to worthless. For one thing, the makers can simply add up FLOPS any old way they want. If one company adds it up differently than the other company then you are not doing an apples to apples comparison.
Second of all, theoretical FLOPS is not the most important criteria because it does't tell you whether that performance can be achieved in the real world, taking into consideration other limiting...
You totally underestimate what Microsoft is bringing in 2010.
Sony is not "killing them with exclusives"...certainly not in 2010.
