It seems some developers are more concerned with showing off than making a good game.
MAG having 256 players has almost nothing to do with the capabilities of the PS3 itself, but rather with networking code. The 360 could have a game with that many players just as easy. In fact, it was scheduled to have a game called Huxley with a massive amount of players but development ran into problems on the PC and 360 due to gameplay issues.
You see, having more players does ...
When did Gabe do the same thing?
Gabe Newell said he thought the PS3's design was a mistake. He did not call the PS3 fanbase juvenile.
That said, I don't care about what Zipper said. It doesn't offend me. I know he is wrong from personal experience and I know he is just trying to talk up his platform.
I have both consoles and my experience has not been the same. The amount of childish jerks seems to be found in about the same proportions on both services. There are just more people on Live and more people using headsets.
BTW, are trying to say that people in other countries are better than people from America? That sounds kind of chauvinist. I speak two languages fluently and I can tell you that people in other countries that speak one of my languages talk just as much sma...
I won't use a Blutooth headset with any of my devices because I don't want that next to my head. It's not worth the risk in my opinion. We are already exposed to way to much EMF and other types of radiation nowadays. I don't want to add to it. Especially something that close to my head. I don't want to get brain cancer in 15 years.
I bought a nice logitec PS2 wired headset and the sound quality is great.
I have played both PS3 and 360 versions of MW2 and teabagging is hardly ever done. You basically don't see it. Very rarely.
Also, there isn't any more teabagging in one version than the other so I don't understand ThatCanadianGuy's point in the first place. Coming from him though, it doesn't surprise me.
"Funny how Xbox 360 owners aren't acting the same way with the comments I'm seeing. Who exactly is more juvenile again?"
I agree with you. A lot of PS3 owners freak out any time a developer says something slightly negative about the PS3, but when Sony or one of their developers says something negative about the 360 most 360 owners couldn't care less.
I disagree with the guy, but it goes no further than that. He is wrong in my opinion, but I understand t...
Sure they are, fanboy. You obviously don't even play them.
You want the same? Go look at God of War, God of War 2 and God of War 3. The gameplay is almost exactly the same.
You are right, it looks like nothing on the PS3 today. It looks better. :0
They are afraid of Halo. There isn't a single other game that gets PS3 loyalists up in arms quite like Halo. They are jealous of it because Sony doesn't have anything as good in the same genre.
I play them both and they are both complex in their own ways. Overall I would say that the gameplay is a little more nuanced in Halo 3 than in Killzone 2. Most of the people who think it is simplistic are people that don't really play it and don't have a clue what it is really about.
Sure, that's why in most articles there are twice the amount of disagrees/agrees from PS3 fans than there are from 360 fans.
That's also why the vast majority of people with lots of bubbles also happen to be PS3 fanboys, right?
And that's why 360 articles have more PS3 fanboys trolling than actual 360 fans, while PS3 articles only have a few 360 trolls, is that it?
It's clear that this site's user base is heavily slanted in the PS3's direction.
I like the way the 360 looks. The PS3 fat looked too bulky and the slim looks too plain.
The PS3 is showing its age just as much.
Personally I think both of them still produce great graphics. But when compared to the graphics achievable on the PC they are both far behind.
I think we will see at least one next gen console by the end of 2011 or 2012.
PS3 has no longer legs than any of the other consoles.
Lasting power is not really decided by technical specs, it is simply a matter of how much support a console is given.
Xbox was much more powerful than the PS2, yet it was the PS2 that outlasted the Xbox and that comes down to how established it was and the continued support Sony and 3rd party developers continued to give it.
This generation all consoles are doing well and their makers have expressed ...
Saaking doesn't know what he is talking about.
For one thing, it doesn't seem to dawn on him that the Wii is far inferior to the 360 and PS3, yet it is here beating everybody and probably will continue to do so for several more years.
Second of all, the 360 and PS3 are essentially equal in power. The 360 has a more efficient unified memory architecture, faster disc read speed, an extra 10MB of super fast EDRAM, and a more powerful GPU. The PS3's CPU, on the other...
I'll speak up, since you are egging us on.
God of War 3 looks better than Dante's Inferno, no question there. Dante's Inferno by no means looks bad, but I was expecting more given how good they made Dead Space look.
God of War 3 looks really great, but those of you implying that it is unrivaled are simply letting your fanaticism for God of War cloud your judgment. From a technical perspective there are games on both consoles that look just as good or better.
Yeah, I do remember that. It was an arrogant comment, wasn't it.
I hate to even comment in PS3 articles unless I am saying something positive, but you guys are going too far with this. The game looks great and is going to be an epic experience, but I honestly cannot believe that some of you think that there is anything about this that couldn't be done on the 360.
Blu-ray has nothing to do with graphics. It simply allows you to have more content on one disc. I haven't heard anything about GOW3 being extra long in length.
That sounds chauvinist.
