It's a nice list yes, but I know I'm skipping Fear 3, Forza 4, Spec Ops: The Line, Gears 3, Dead Space 2, Silent Hill 8, Dungeon Siege 3, Guild Wars 2, XCOM, Star Wars: The Old Republic, The Witcher 2, Total War: Shogun 2, Homefront, and Bulletstorm. That's not to say that I can get the remaining games on the list, or even that these games here I'm passing on are bad, but they don't hold any interest for me (whether it be from no interest in the genre, genre or series fati...

LOL @ comments, thanks.

I will lol so hard, if you get stuck with them. If I end up having to wait or put up with Ebay prices like yours, I'd take the wait.

I think someone needs to pull their panties out of their vajay-jay, are you really that sensitive? Is that working out for you, get many ladies with that? I'm just be curious, lol.

Thank you, whoever the eff you are author, I whole-heartedly agree. I too, don't find any of it interesting, but I must admit, a lot of the comments made after such articles are sometimes pretty freaking hilarious, as is the need for gaming "journalists" need to qualify there posts by claiming to be platform agnostic. Nobody cares, I for one generally am only interested what is coming in the future, games or accessories I've missed, and occasionally the opinions of others on...

I completely agree, and while that isn't much coming from me considering I'm not the biggest online gamer (I dabble from time to time), I think it sucks that these companies market their consoles, "look we can support multiple controllers, blah blah blah" (isn't the PS3 able to support like up to 6 or something?), but then local multiplayer is nerfed in lieu of online gaming. I much rather have my friends (when they're around) in person to socialize with, while we ga...

I believe this is the compilation MK they talked about in one of their interviews (I think I saw it on Gametrailers or something, sorry I can't be more specific).

I think I'm gonna pick this up, as the few games I've been looking forward to in March have been getting moved around, as it is now Deus Ex is the only title I would have been getting in March (although it looks as though it may be later in the year). Before that though, I'm getting MvC3, KZ3 (both of which would make great b-day gifts as they are releasing around that time), and LBP2 (already pre-ordered).

I don't like the subscription based gaming (but that's just me, it's why I haven't gotten into games like WoW, despite my friends best efforts to get me involved), but I suppose I wouldn't be averse to the subscription being included in something like Playstation+, now if that were to happen I would actually get PS+ (not that I'm not tempted now, but that would probably put me over the edge).

I'll take Xenogears loved that game, and maybe Vagrant Story heard good stuff about that one (but never did get around to trying it, well consider that corrected).

Why even get excited for Forza anymore, I liked the 1st and 2nd one, but come on, sure the online community aspect of the game is fine and all, but your still trudging through the same career, going through the same tracks, and unlocking the same vehicles. Stinks of re-skin with Kinect support, can't blame Turn-10 though, too many people are all to eager to part with their money so easily (why bother when people still turn up and fork over $60 for an annual release). I'd take a Codema...

Ummmm... huh... okay, you know, I just should've let this one be.

I agree, Codemasters really nail the presentation aspect, but all that is lost on people who needlessly whine about who's better, blah blah blah. Well, maybe they feel the need to justify their purchase, or they just crave the drama.

Yeah, but unfortunately what Forza and GT5 do in damage, and level interaction they both get blasted by Codemasters racing games: GRID, DiRT 1 & 2, and F1 (but these skew more arcade-ish). Why, in light of games like these do developers still have indestructible "soft objects" (you can dent guardrails, break through fences, and practically wrap your vehicle around some things for Christ's sake)? Mmmmm... DiRT 3 (salivate).

I'd give it a go, but I'll wait for the review, and am hoping that this won't have lag like all of those usb wireless controllers. Looks nice too, hope the build quality is up to par.

["We're very actively going after the sim racing genre, to be up there and compete with GT5 and Forza and take a big chunk of that consumer," Shift 2: Unleashed's executive producer Marcus Nilsson tells us in a very matter of fact kind of way, seemingly unfazed by such stiff competition.

Usually we'd scoff, grab a biscuit for the road and walk out on whoever made such a claim, but this is Need For Speed, this is Shift 2 and so you'd better believe t...

Ummm, that is just a suggested guidline, and hardly the fastest, as a matter of fact most of the time the AI doesn't even really follow that line (it tends to follow the skid marks), I'm just sayin'. I've played a lot of Forza, and that has always been the case.

It's not that, it is better to unlock the full simulation aspects, rather it is a different way to slowly bring people up to speed to the game's driving complexities (considering how that has been a complaint leveraged against the game since the earliest days of the series). Forza does the same, i.e. the one button driving, the rewind time aspect, all in attempt to catch a wider audience. In Forza's case there is no real incentive for the player to get better, and typically they d...
