I say screw all those hackers, they've been the ones to blame from the beginning. They seem kinda thick to think that people should support them, when they were responsible for everyone getting screwed in the 1st place, all they want is to steal and cheat, regardless of what platform they do it on.
I didn't mind the first Shift, had some issues (that I hope will be fixed by this one). Other than that, I will give this a go, hope to see a demo, or I'll at least give it a rent, cause I'm waiting for Dirt 3 (plus I still got about half of GT5 left).
It's a fair review, but I still like it. To me it feels like a beat'em up that you approach like a shoot'em up where Gretchin is like your ship's option (ala Gradius, M.U.S.H.A., whatever), it's different. I just wished it would've been taken further.
Well they already have that game Patapon, you could have something like that where you have more direct control via the traditional controls, and control of the rhythm stuff via the back touch panel. How about an fps (or any kind of genre) with rts field awareness through a screen overlay (that can be toggled) you control through the touch pad. Just my 2 cents. Well it makes sense to them to make dlc as they're just in it for the money, but I don't get much dlc (but I understand I'm in the minority on this one). So, if I perceive that the game isn't good enough out of the box, and provides an experience that can stand on its own, then it's a pass for me.
Black Ops was it for me, I came in on CoD 2, got and like the 1st Modern Warfare (I had a feeling that I should have skipped MW2, then confirmed that after getting it), pretty much skipped all the Act./Trey. ones except Black Ops (I don't hate it, but I don't really play it much either, kind of a waste) guess I'm done with this franchise (should've got out at MW, and ended on a high note).
I'm lvl 33 or 34 a-spec (don't remember off top of my head) and lvl 40 b-spec with just over 500 cars in the garage although currently I think I only have about 2k in money. I still need to go back and finish up most of the golds in the licenses, but I have the golds in all the special events except the AMG Driving Academy, 2 races in the Grand Tour, and the X-2010 Challenge.

Agree, will be getting right away as well, like the hand drawn look and the art style. Miss games like this even if I'm not good at them. How about some old style bullet-hell shmups (something along the lines of Raiden, Thunder Force or even M.U.S.H.A., with this kind of art style and color).
Sucks to be this guy, I game with my brother he's reliable (although sometimes I have to shelve a game that I'm going through with him for awhile until he's around to finish it, but he gets it, no training needed), and then there are my kids they're a little young now, so not the entire game library yet (too bad cause my daughter is an excellent pair of extra eyes, but a lot of my games aren't age appropriate for her yet, she's also not a bad gamer either).
If that was the charge to fix, why didn't you just buy a new one? They used memory cards, it's not like you would've lost anything, just sayin'.

That looks awesome, not that I needed a lot of extra convincing (cause I actually liked Shift), but the drift footage, I loved how the view swings out to the side window instead of being locked to looking down the hood of the car. That was more impressive than I was expecting, good job.

I'll wait and see as I always do, but I looked at the Shift 2 website, and the cars list so far is the exact same cars from the first Shift save the Huayra. Although an exhaustive car list isn't necessary cause GT has that covered, hopefully the 100+ track layouts are uniquely different enough for longevity.
