Raw speed wise, 660ti is gunna be faster. But in reality 660ti will be much slower because of optimizing that occurs in consoles. Plus consoles dont have to use a resource hog OS that pc's use.
I dont think optimization would work quite as well for steam as it does on consoles. This is mainly due to the majority of your audience will likely never be made up of steambox users. So are you really going to be pooling a ton of resources into that, while using the left over funds to code for every other system build?
The lesson here is not write off a game based on beta testing or initial video footage.
Can you sell your used games from Steam? PC users are flocking by the thousands to that service. Or maybe is that market so different from the console one?
I do like being able to use pc hd's in ps3 definitely. Im not sold on the rumored faster ps4 ram. As every pc builder knows is true, faster ram speed is still much slower than when you have double the amount. But not sure if that will hold true for ddr3 vs ddr5 ram.
Mostly im just excited for smoothier and better high def experiences from next gen consoles.

Your already gunna max out 1080p with a 660ti. Beyond that your just future buying, doing 3 monitors, or a high rez 2500x1440+. So the answer depends on those things & your expendable income.
I really dont know if your only doing a single monitor 1080p at 60 fps if youll ever see a benefit to higher than a 660ti.
Dont forget twice the ram and a bigger hd on the 720. Or we just doing bias differences?

Theres no "rights" invoked when it comes to software like in a video game. You get whatever rights a company sets for you.
I see the used car example as apples vs oranges. A car is perishable. A video game, for the most part, is not. Steam games follows the business model of tying your game to your account and you cannot resell it.

Windows 8 is great tile interface for potables devices and the new console.

Lacking any games? No I cant afford nor have the time to play even 1/4 the games out there right now. So bragging rights to have a library of 2, 000 games vs only 1, 650 to me is just propaganda that means nothing to me.
That plus I play mmos on the pc, so I just dont have the need to buy 2-3 games per month.
