"PS4 is so similar to a current higher-end PC"
You mean its similar to a current mid-low end laptop. 6-10 months from now, more of a low end.
Nonetheless, with optimization, games could very well look high end for the first few years. Plus, I'm liking the new controller design a lot.
U do realize the people are almost all borderline starving and have no rights, right? I mean thier army can come kidnap and murder anyone in your family for speaking out, but they have no debt....pretty sure thats the least of thier worries.
I wouldn't be too surprised if they changed their minds on the 20th announcement. I mean afterall, they strung us along believing the ps3 wouldn't be replaced for 10 years.
Walking would also get where you could go too. Just at a slower pace.
"So you just want to copy?"
Just incorporating another technology like all consoles have done already dozens of times over. Heck if you really wanna go down the line of thinking of every detail being original, Sony didn't invent the controller. Or what about the vga, s-video, hdmi connections to the tv. USB and wifi technologies also. More copying if you wanna go down that line.
Mario WiiU co-op and competitive modes alone make it better than Mario world for the replay value.
Not sure where the comparisons to Killzone come from. Killzone isn't open world (on the rails shooter) and is a dark post apocalyptic setting.
it costs 2 much
And likewise, this is why all the jobs will continue to go overseas. Good and bad with a global market I suppose.
Actually 660 range in price from $200-250. The 660ti goes from $250-$325.

Do we "need" anything other than food, clothing, and shelter? No.
But, we "want it", now damn it.
But that violates the golden rule of dont shat where you sleep.
Make a bigger, adult sized controller and im happy. Im not interested in motion this or that, nor a gimic controller screen.
I personally don't want a gimic screen, and don't care about the d-pad because I don't play 2D fighter games. (Just my opinion, not gunna say its true for everyone out there.)
I would like to see from both sony and ms, adult sized controllers next gen. Improved battery life and wireless headsets without the use of a separate accessory receiver would be nice too.
So again no 4k games and I really question a hypothetical 4k tv at that price. First of all that link you posted, was for $2,000 not $1500. And secondly the guy barely spoke a lick of English, so more likely he doesn't even know the correct exchange rate to U.S. dollars.
Heck a high end 55" lcd-led can still go for $1500-2000, so Im very doubtful of that $2,000 4k resolution.
So Im still standing by the original comment regardless if some people pret...
Depends on your definition of free. Its free of a cord. It grants you more gaming freedom. It prevents you from getting laid for free (wait nvm you had that freedom before this controller was out).
Well considering theres no 4k resolution game in the foreseeable future, plus the cheapest 4k monitor is $5, 500 im gunna say no. Just a wet dream for several more years. (At which point this card will be $300-400, when can even use it for 4k).
Next up, if amd can thier cards run as cool as nvidia's, id consider buying one next time. But they def on the right track nowadays with drivers and price has always been a bit lower than nvidia.
Points 1-4 all represent lost sales to the video game industry. I mean the game industry could just as easily counter with look at all the gaming devs that have went bankrupt because of poor sales, partially due to lost profits in used games, where they get nothing.
The one and only motive for companies to not go the direction of blocking second hand sales would be lack of consumer adoption.
The facts kinda disagree with your assessment of "most". CoD's are the best selling games of this generation, so its very laughable to claim most arent playing it.
