AMD still has to play the catch up game on making cooler and more power efficient gpu's for me to jump on board. Nividia currently has that aspect on lock down with 600 series and up.
Im glad to hear AMD finally are up to par recently (or close to) with driver's and their pricing is usually a tad lower for similar Nvidia cards. However, when Im spending $400-500 for a gpu, the $20 difference doesn't mean that much for me.

While the ddr5 has some potiential, a system is the sum of it's parts. The negatives are that the cpu and gpu mid grade laptop parts (much less powerful than desktop versions). And then u have optimization in consoles. Alot of factors going on.
Its impossible for the ps4 to be better in every way since the 720 hasnt even released the specs. To avoid sounding like a raving fanboy, u shud go with words like probably, or based on the direction of the current gen. As it stands your just a punch-drunk fanatic.

If you really want to know about devs opinion on the ps4 (yes some are from pc devs, so there is that bias), they are very concerned with the weak cpu and gpu that are already dated and weaker laptop versions. But most do love the ram.
I don't expect MS to be much different with hardware. However with that said, obviously to offset the hardware, consoles have optimization and will being using dx11 as the standard. Also we're gunna see some some great new software grap...
