bullshit.
other games patch in the data needed to allow players to see skins other players have bought, patching is automatic, you either patch or you don't get online, so saying they didn't want some people not seeing the skins others are using is crap.
the excuses forthis were bullshit from capcom and they're bullshit from epic.
that guy's clearly got too much time on his, h... oh right. o_O
it's probably true but it's just one of many speculative patents companies like nintendo, ms and sony hold.
most of them will never get produced.
confirmed by ea programmers and technicians?
there nothing like hearing it from a fully objective source.
wait, i meant that's nothing like hearing it from a fully objective source.
that's what i meant to say.
it's about time the australian government recognised that there are adults who game, and they should be treated as adults and be allowed to choose what they play for themselves.
well i got some laughs out of it, that's entertaining in my book.
i'm not saying whether he's right or not, because as i said i don't have a strong opinion either way, i said it was entertaining.
and to me it was.
whether you agree with the article or not, i don't have strong opinions either way, it was a damn entertaining read.
so many things wrong with this article.
firstly, THEY GOT PAID, the publisher got their fair share when it was sold new.
they get their money, we get to own a product, that's a basic principal of commerce, and has been for centuries.
using the old, "the store doesn't give enough for the games" argument.
well, gamestop might not but some do, and whatever they give it has nothing to do with the publisher, that copy no longer belon...
i've heard some crap from ea, but this is something else.
"It’s a new way of complimenting the past."
yeah, by pissing on it.
i played syndicate a lot back on the amiga.
same for X-Com.
these new games, and they may even turn out to be great games, that's not what i expect from a syndicate game, and as for that x-com game, all i'll say is, that is absolutely not x-com
do they really need to bring back these series just to make it look like their generic fps number 34128762 actually has some history behind it.
those too young to have played the original ...
they look photo realistic, until you get any people in the picture.
was that Ezio on that motorbike by the way?
this is news, this is stating the blindingly bleedin' obvious.
scee QA is a bloody joke.
they'l delay content for months over the tiniest bloody details, yet they will also let stuff go through that just plain doesn't work.
it's ridiculous.
and when they do hold something back the lack of communication is a joke.
they don't even seem to tell the developers why, or even that they are holding it back.
we've been waiting something like nine months for the pink knight dlc ...
a lego who game would be cool, but lego don't have the doctor who license.
some company called character who have their own range of lego like building sets have the license.
that would undoubtedly complicate any attempt to make a game.
and i don't think character building doctor who would grab people's attention like a lego who game would.
these schemes have nothing to do with piracy.
to pirate on console you need the console to be modded and those consoles will get banned, so this doesn't stop piracy.
it's never been about piracy, it's always been about the preowned market.
funny, i can name several reasons.
but one should be enough.
proper controls.
shame neither thinks to feature women though.
i thought ubisoft set up their own studio to make movies based on their games.
yeah, because too many just lie back and take it.
people like you convince others that they have no power.
when the truth is, we have all the power.
we should be dictating terms to these greedy scum, not the other way round.
we're the ones in control of the one resource this industry is driven by.
that resource is our money, OUR money, that we control.
too many fanboys push the publisher propaganda that this is justified an...
not so private anymore though.
and what's this? "speech language, united states"?
i think they'll find it's called English.
