i've never had that with any of the COD games, the few i've played.
i did with Mirror's edge though, also marathon on xbla, and weirdly doom on ps1.
i can understand with Mirror's Edge, but doom and marathon?
i still haven't finished Mirror's Edge because of it.
seriously, the number of people thinking sony is in the right here when they're denying their customers the right to hold them accountable is just frakking staggering.
seriously, i know the fanboy shit runs deep when it comes to console vs console, but console vs our rights and you still stick up for that hunk of frakking plastic and metal?
times like this i weep for the species, i really do.
Mike Judge had it right, the idiots really are...
because they changed the terms idiot.
talk about the shallow end of the gene pool.
sony put a clause in their license that basically says they can do whatever they and you can't touch them and somebody challenges it and you criticise him?
and you say he's the stupid one?
better that guy running anything than some stockholm syndrome suffering idiot defending the multinationals when they take away our rights.
...
they're abandoning the non kinect buyers.
just look at the latest dash, clearly the only people they were thinking about were kinect users.
it's such a shame we can't get mods like that for the console versions.
those swords are pretty cool too.
alan wake deserved better sales than it got.
even releasing the pc version at the same yime would have made a big difference.
but now, ms wanted it on the xbox alone so the pc version is only now close to release.
turn 10, polyphony and criterion seem to know.
this is not the star wars game you're looking for.
we can go about our business.
move along.
the bookshelf in my house is still broken.
you know why they do these offers? like the one month for one dollar/pound thing.
to get your card details.
and have you noticed how you can give them money with a few button presses and little to no identity checks.
it's only when you want to stop giving them money they make you jump through hoops to prove who you really are, and then after that you have to speak to somebody for whom english is, at best, their second language.
an...
will it still be infested with that bloody securom crap?
i was gonna say "money", but i think you lot beat me to it. ^_^
more importantly, how much will they charge for it?
yeah, they love the cloud because you never own the games you buy.
and look at the pricing of ea's games on the psn, they're frankly ridiculous.
it's probably very nice, but you need gold to use it.
is there another device in the world where you have to be a paying subscriber to use youtube?
i'm not aware of any other device that has a cost associated with a youtube app.
once again ms stands alone in charging you for something everybody else provides for free.
this is why those laws that try to ban you from the net for unsubstantiated claims of violating copyright should never be allowed to pass.
because nobody bothers to bloody check them.
they have programs that scour the net for anything that might match something they hold copyright to, and as shown in this case even stuff they don't, and as soon as they find something that has even the weakest possible match they send a cease and desist.
i...
i don't think that's been free to play long enough to have really entered contention for this year.
but next year i can see it winning a few best free to play mmo awards.
the ads are annoying, but i can live with them.
of course if i paid for gold and was bombarded with ads i'd be proper ticked off.
the real problem for me is the whole interface is designed for kinect users.
with bing finding stuff is probably easy, but trying to navigate that bloody mess is a nightmare.
everytime they change the dashboard it gets harder to find things on it.
it's a bloody mess, it's clearly designed around kinect and bing.
“Any Dispute Resolution Proceedings, whether in arbitration or court, will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class or representative action or as a named or unnamed member in a class, consolidated, representative or private attorney general action.”
that's an actual quote, not some fanboy's interpretation.
you agree to that or they take away your psn access, a service sold as part of the package you paid for when you bought your ps3 so the ...
