world mergers, never a good sign for an mmo.
next it'll either be a switch to free to play or shutting down.
now i don't think they've actually been charging a sub since launch due to the problems but they could announce that they will make the game fully free to play with an item store.
i just get them all started then go to the shut down menu and choose the install then shut down option.
it's handy if i get a few started before i have to go out or to bed.
but this way is good if i'm waiting to play them.
that's all well and good in the short term, actually it's still a bloody shit idea, but for the sake of this argument, but what about years from now when that console is no longer supported and somebody wants to play those games.
somebody found some copies cheap at a flea market/car boot sale, or maybe in a charity shop.
and they need some activation code
but there's no way to get one.
that game is forever worthless.
for the sake of...
what i don't get is why anybody even thinks the publishers deserve a cut of preowned sales.
no other industry does, the company that built your house doesn't get paid if you sell it on.
the company that made your car doesn't.
neither do the creators of any books, films, or music.
you sell your tv? phillips don't get a cut.
so why is gaming a special case?
when i buy a copy of a game, that copy is my pro...
i could think of a few things.
now the wait is on to see how much scee can screw up the eu release.
the game looks great though, i can't wait to play it.
impressive from a technical standpoint and all that, but it doesn't actually look like much fun.
you can be evil and murder people, that's fine, but as soon as a same sex romance option comes in, then the game is bad.
ahh, the hypocrisy of the bigot, gotta love.
anyway, no gay star wars characters?

i thought the ad was kinda funny.
i don't care for the games, and consequently this elite thing is of no interest, but this and the recent vet and noob videos were more fun to watch.
maybe that's why i like them, i know the games will never cost me money so i'm not so bothered.
they can add dlc, but they can't patch out the glitch that people have been using to cheat in one of the tracks?
interesting. o_O
i'd love to see Jade return in a BG&E sequel.
i'll tell you what i think, if they do employ anything like this, i will never buy it.
ms already charge for playing online, adding another charge on top of that for used games would be taking the piss.
ms are many things, greedy, amoral, monopolistic, but not stupid.
and they'd have to be pretty stupid to think people would accept this.
so for now i'm assuming this isn't true.
now how about a purse? ^_^
if they want to do that that's up to them, but don't try to fool us with some guff that it "enhances the gameplay experience"
classy, real classy.
i've been saying for a very long time, ms have a backwards idea about security.
you can spend unlimited amounts with no checks, it's only when you want to stop paying them they get all security conscious.
frankly, i'd say ms have been criminally negligent in their handling of this.
they are legally obliged, at least in the uk, to keep their customers information secure, they failed.
i agree, i'd expect a 3ds title with a name like that.
i've already got angry birds as a mini for my ps3 and psp, cost me 99p.
that was in a sale, but the full price was only like a couple of quid.
i just can't see anybody buying this as a full priced retail title.
the 3ds version will probably weigh in at 20-30 quid, when there are a dozen or so free versions if you've got an iphone/pod/pad
some armour for Mass Effect 3 from what i've read.
no, i suck. ^_^
