konami tried this for pro evo and that lasted all of one game didn't it?
i hope this game fails badly.
my guess, it's tied to an account, and it will be a one time code.
valve?
you got to be frakking kidding?
the company that created steam? the drm riddled virus in all but name that infests even disc games?
frakk that.
oh so now the scaremongering is bad?
raise the spectre of piracy, "ooh, the pirates, scary pirates, they'll come and eat your children", and you're just talking about protecting people, but you protest at having your rights taken away and you're a criminal now?
so all those who try to stop the illegal holding of people without their right to trial are just terrorists and so we shouldn't listen?
most ps3 owners should care because don't thi...
that's exactly the same argument that politicians like bush used for illegally detaining people without trial and violating people's rights.
scaremongering to justify violating people's rights, the same as here.
think on this.
"those who sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither."
ok so, not many people used linux, but to borrow a relevant quote, "how many people does it take before it becomes wrong?"
what if somebody manages to create a boot disc and sony in their paranoia decide to disable the drive?
would that matter now that it's something you lot do care about?
so many people saying these guys suing are just doing it for selfish reasons, but most people here are saying they never used linux so they don't care, just as self...
really, why is there not a version of this for home consoles?
they'de be guaranteed sales.
they would say that.
i don't know enough to be sure of anything in this case but i'd be more inclined to believe the people from IW than activision.
the ds probably was just a side project, but then it sold like gangbusters so they concentrated on it.
and now the gameboy is pretty much history.
it's still a little surprising they just abandonded the gameboy brand, surely one of the most successful consoles ever.
but this story should have been obvious when they released the dsi and took out the cartridge slot for gba games.
doesn't seem to be much in the way of corroborating evidence, but it sounds plausible, you wouldn't be surprised by apple doing this i mean.
didn't think anybody still even made these.
i think capcom has shown they really don't care for what their fans want after selling on disc content as dlc and now this bullshit, only able to play when you're online, drm on final fight.
do whatever the frakk you want capcom, just be sure i won't be buying it.
not new anyway, when it's preowned for a fiver, then maybe.
dlc and drm are starting to become four letter words. :(
a mecha multi ip mash up, like that recent rpg mash up game, if there's a dictionary definition of guaranteed hit in japan surely that's it. :)
just a shame it looks like one of those titles that will never make it outside of japan other than via imports so will never get an english version.
i'm agreeing with jaffe, honestly didn't see that coming. :)
surely this only affects the three or four people with a 360 that don't already own halo :)
written by a man who owns an iphone.
there's a surprise. :)
i'm really not picturing myself spending much time visiting a site with the name gamejizz, besides, what if somebody looks in my history? :o
lego do have a license to make products based on the spider-man movies so that could be a way in for the games.
please, everybody, do not support this, drm is never in the interests of the consumer, do not buy this game or any other game that includes this.
