the thing with the wii and "hardcore" games is that you have to wait forever and a day for them to come out, and even then it still might not be worth buying. Everyone knows the wii has some great core titles, but it's the fact that they come out so few and far between. Also, some of these 3rd party games that are successful i have no desire to play. De Blob, Boom Blox. I don't want games like that. I want solid single player experiences and frankly the wii just doesn't provide that...
yes thq is part of the problem but the guy does have a point. It does seem a bit hypocritical though. The truth however is that 9 times out of 10 any wii software section is flooded with crap. There's been numerous times when i went to gamestop or best buy to buy no more heroes and it simply wasn't there. last year the stream worked perfect for me through ign so thats who im watching this year. Right now it's all in depth looks at games. I can't wait, i don't even own a 360 but im still excited to see what microsoft has set to announce. Who knows maybe i'll end up buying one after this e3, ha.
the inclusion of a umd drive would defeat the purporse of the psp go, the concept behind the system is that it's all digital, you can get games/movies/music on the "GO"
I would understand the complaints from these idiot bloggers if sony was discontinuing the psp3000, but sony isn't. UMD games are not going away.

the fact that there is no umd drive is a good thing. a cd drive in a hald held destroys the battery life, and for the people who already have a psp, the umd games aren't being discontinued. PSP Go is perfect for people, like me, who would rather download the games straight to the device.

all this hate for a system that was announced 2 days ago is pretty silly. I think the download only feature sounds great. I don't have to drive to the store and deal with lines or anything, plus the games might even be a little cheaper. I can't wait for this to come out.

the psp go is definitely a step in the right direction in portable gaming for sony. Being able to stream and download movies and tv shows, 16gig built in flash memory. Top notch stuff right there.

button mapping is not the same as dual analog control. Whats the point of a second analog if all it does is replace the triangle, circle, square and x. Thats pointless imo and wouldn't be as accurate as simply pressing a button.

also, this isn't me hating on the 360, but honestly what the heck is so great about cod? halo odst actually looks kinda cool, i hate all the other halos but i like the style that odst is sporting. Still though, it's dlc. I don't really get excited over those things.
