i can understand the bashing on the conduit because the game looks like shooters that we've already played on the xbox and ps2 (i dont mean graphic wise but as an overall design) but this new game looks like it'll be alot of fun.

i really don't understand the hype for these games. Maybe it's cause i'm not a big MP player. The single player campaign i thought was extremely boring, it played just like any other shooter imo. I didn't buy the first MW and i definitely don't plan on buying this one.
look at how many games are based on ww2. Pearl Harbor was an attack on us soil and there's games based on it. A 9/11 game will be made but it's probably too soon, maybe in 10 years of so. Even then though, who really cares? I prefer playing games that aren't based on real life events.

i didn't have a ps2 last gen so i missed out on all these games.
i do however have the ratchet and clank on ps3 and absolutely love it. I plan on buying a ps2 next month or so cause i really wanna play the sly cooper series, gow1&2 and shadow of the colossus.

this is the dumbest thing ive ever seen.
the war is already expensive enough as it is, and the military is trying to downsize. We don't need stormtroopers running around in the desert acting out halo fantasies.

ya know, lots of people always name system shock 2 as a terrifying game but i didn't think it was scary, i didn't even like the game to be honest. My little brother loves it though and doesn't understand why i don't feel the same as him.

the core fanbase aren't the people who bought a wii for wii sports. Those are the fad gamers who saw the commercials and the hype in the news.
the real core fanbase are the people who were waiting outside stores on launch day and who have been supporting nintendo since day 1. These gamers have been getting neglected this gen.

i think the problem isn't getting your girlfriend into gaming, but with the person who is actively trying to get their girlfriend into gaming.

on the nes, snes, n64 and gamecube we did not have to suffer through these nonsense games. Nintendo has always been more family oriented than the other systems but the wii takes things to a whole new level. I realize making money is a good thing but come on, can't they set a group of developers aside and have them work on a core title or a new IP? I don't think that is too much to ask.
