the only reason rare was as good as they were was because of help from nintendo and their old staff. Most of the people that were with rare during their golden years have moved on to other companies. HVS is nothing like rare. This article is completely worthless. Plus, comparing HVS to Rare is so mind numbingly stupid. The conduit isn't even out yet, good lord. Just wait for it to come out and rate HVS by their own merits not by comparisons that don't add up.

no HVS is not the new rare. Rare made mostly nintendo franchise games that were published by nintendo. HVS is doing their own thing completely. Nothing is similar.

awesome, this is one wii game i was following and really wanted to play. Definitely gonna pick this one up. Now if only fatal frame 4 could make it's way stateside...
i trust high voltage to make a solid game, but i don't trust the wii fanbase to actually go out and buy the game. Why, you ask. HOTD: Overkill and Madworld come to mind.
i didn't say motion + is gimmicky, it's not even out yet so i can't judge it yet. I meant waggle based games. You must be taking crazy pills if you think that wii games will look better than 360 games, It's not possible. The hardware is completely different. Also, using gladiator a.d. and the grinder as sources is kinda silly, the games were announced like 48 hours ago.

I have the first motorstorm and while i don't think it's the best racer ever, it is extremely good and does make you feel a part of the action.

the wii imo is the best system if your hanging around with your family or just wanna goof off with friends and not get competitive, other than that though i have no purpose for it. The weak library of games is common knowledge, the ign nintendo team brings it up all the time in their podcasts.
this is dumbest argument and it's complete bs because no one would have ever said this with the gamecube or n64, but passionate nintendo fanboys have to justify why the wii is extremely weak when it comes to it's software library.
Some people tease the wii cause of it's inferior graphics but i don't care about graphics. To me gameplay is more important and i don't enjoy playing mini games or waiting months upon months for a decent title to come out. The wii is weak, that's not me...
the dual shock i think is the best console controller, that and the snes controller. I mean the dual shock has been around since the ps1. It's perfect imo
yea aliens vs predator could be really cool, id love if they incorporated a first person cover mechanic similar to the one in killzone2. Alpha Protocol sounds interesting also
