Sony isn't targeting the same audience that nintendo is. Of course Sony would love to have the numbers nintendo has, it just isn't going to happen. I'd love to see a Fatal Frame game on the NGP, imagine if it used the cameras that are on the system. That could be cool. I'd just be happy with more Fatal Frame games in my collection though. :)

If sony prices the ngp at 250 without 3g and 300 with 3g, they will sell boatloads. Yes they'll take a loss but it'll be so much better for them in the long run. The NGP will flood the market and 3rd party support will spread like a forest fire. I can't wait for this thing to come out.

I think the touch pad on the rear is cool. It's going to be optional in games like uncharted, they said that last night. Making is mandatory would be stupid (lair anyone?) when all the required buttons and sticks are right there. Plus, the touchpad on the back could function as l2 / r2 buttons for certain games.
Sony needs to sell the NGP for no more than 300. Sell it at a loss & lower the royalties they receive for 3rd party games. More 3rd parties will jump on board and make games and a lower price point will mean a stronger foothold in the handheld market. It'll be painful for sony at first but it'll work to their advantage in the long run.

The game sounds interesting but it looks like complete garbage on both consoles. If this was a launch title on the 360 it still would look "meh."

The psp is the only handheld that's gone toe to toe with a nintendo handheld and lived to tell the tale.

I agree, I own all 3 resistance games and I think retribution for the psp is the best game in the series. James Grayson is such a better character than Nathan Hale. He has a lot of depth for a character and I love his dark humor. Easily one of the best games on the psp.

actually, my wii that I bought on launch day has some really annoying artifacting. It's only when I use component cables and it's not my cables because I've bought about 3 different sets, 3rd party and 1st party. It's the system itself.
The only console this gen with widespread faultiness is the 360. The ps3 and wii have their errors like any other system but the 360 is a complete mess.
