I really don't see how people say that Majoras Mask is the best zelda game. I think it's a good game but in terms of zelda titles, I'd take links awakening over majoras mask.
OOT is by far my favorite though.
Zelda is my favorite franchise but the series did not bring about exploration and vast 3d worlds. I would give credit for that to the PC market. In terms of exploration, the first ultima was out in 1980, Legend of Zelda didn't release till 1986. Also Betrayal at Krondor for the PC was pretty intense in terms of 3d graphics when it came out in 1993, OOT didn't hit till 1998.
Zelda is great but to say that it pioneered all those things is just flat out untrue.
The HD remakes are great when studios put time and effort in them. It makes it so younger generations can enjoy games from the past. However, HD remakes are awful when it comes to garbage like the Prince of Persia HD remakes. Those are an absolute joke, buggy as hell and they look worse than the originals.
It's funny to think that 'Thrill Kill' was banned but games like Ninja Gaiden 3 are coming out.
yeah and, his daughter is named zelda. He named her after princess zelda because he is a huge fan of the first game. It probably has something to do with zelda info being at e3.

He's a great director and mark wahlberg can be a great actor at times but neither are good for an uncharted film. I'm sure he could have directed a great film but the inklings of the story that had leaked did not sound good at all. Here's hoping that Nate Fillion will get the role of Nathan Drake.
If nintendo has a traditional controller for it then i'm all in. If it's all motion then i'm gonna pass on it. At the very least they could give gamers an option between motion and dual analog.

the c onduit's engine is optimized for the wii. Look at how difficult it can be to port a 360 game to the ps3. I bet a wii game going over to the ps3 would be even more difficult. Plus, the wii is only capable of 480p. The game would be an absolute disaster on high end consoles.

The PC, 360 and PS3 are flooded with shooters, that's why the conduit was so hyped before it released, the wii was FINALLY getting a shooter that was built from the ground up and wasn't just a port.

jim sterling is a joke, it's obvious the game is mediocre but scores this low should be reserved for titles that are beyond broken and unplayable, socom 4 is neither of those. Reviewers depend too much on how they enjoyed the game rather than how the game actually is. There are many genres I don't enjoy, RTS for example, does that mean if I were a reviewer I would score them all low? No. You have to rate a game based on it's merits, not just how much you enjoyed it.

thps2 is the best in the series. It had the perfect blend of over the topness and realism. It even had a code to make the physics more realistic.
seriously, people forget how expensive games were. I bought turok for the n64 for around 80 dollars.
nintendo is kinda like activision in the sense that they have grown so accustomed to selling 10+ million units for games that anything new is too much a risk. Miyamoto was disappointed in wiimusic sales, that piece of shite sold like 8 million copies...

The thing that sucks the most about nintendo dropping support for the wii is the fact that we'll probably never see 'the last story' released outside of japan. Nintendo is so effing stupid at times.
