Awesome, I can't wait to play 4. Yakuza 3 was the first game I had played in the series and I loved it. I love the accurateness of japanese culture and how they involved the navy base in okinawa. I've had friends stationed out there and it was really cool to see real life issues taking part in a videogame world. Also, that game made taking care of children in an orphanage a fun thing to do, I can't think of any games that have ever done that.
Probably a mistake. It would be nice to see Yakuza go multiplat for more sales but that's not the case. The series is niche as can be in the states, which is a shame, and SEGA probably doesn't want to run the risk of having a flop on the 360.

I can't wait for Yakuza 4, Yakuza 3 was one of my favorite games last year.
I agree, Dead Space was overlooked when it was first released, not by everyone but it seriously lacked praise considering it was a band new IP, from a new development house and that it was a nearly flawless single player campaign.

Who cares about scores, I'm more worried about GG losing sales because of the leakage. I can't wait for KZ3, I played a few minutes of the demo and I was blown away, can't wait to get my hands on the full game.

Have you played red steel? That's easily one of the worst games I've ever played. It's just lethal enforcers with asians. Plus, it's buggy as hell. Ubisoft rushed the crap out of that game to make launch day.

I hate it when a publishing giant scoops up a talented but relatively new studio, has them make a game with limited resources. Games does mediocre in sales, studio is closed. It's such bullshit.
I like High Voltage and the staff, they seem like really nice, hardworking people. I still think the conduit was a horrible game though. We'll see how the sequel is, they were on an IGN podcast the other week. It sounds like they really took to heart all the issues people had with the first and are trying hard to correct them.

If you mean HD in the sense of just 720p, etc. Then yes, you're correct, it adds but it only makes things looks pretty. One thing that comes with HD though is better processing, AI, etc. Those things definitely add to the experience of games.
Just an example, and I know it's not fair because it's a shit port built with an outdated engine.
