I hold the wiimote in my left hand as well. The problem is that link was a lefty until twilight princess for the wii. Now if Skyward Sword is going to utlize motion plus, that means that precision and accuracy are going to be required much more so than previous zelda games.
Now that link is a righty, he swings the sword with his right hand. So for left handed players, it's awkward to control the wiimote with their non dominant hand, and if I use my left hand the motions...
There's also no option to play it left handed.
I have Alan Wake. It's fun but nothing too spectacular. The forest environments are really well done but the game is really straight forward and gets repetitive after a while. It's definitely worth playing though.
That dreamcast emulator is horrible. It's running at like 10fps and is buggy as hell.
The only thing custom firmware brings to consoles is software piracy and cheaters on online MP/achievements/trophies.
I hope sony nails geohot to the cross. Hacking a console in your room for your own self satisfaction is one thing, but hacking a console and releasing the info and tools to the internet is another.
What geohot and failoverflow did was wro...
It's because IGN is garbage. The 8.5 score doesn't bother me at all. An 8.5 is good. It's the review itself that I call into question. I'm not saying the guy was paid off or anything but IGN has the worst reviewers out of any site. These people are "journalists" but they cannot write a decent review or article to save their lives. It's pathetic. Also, he barely touches on the MP aspect of the game. Lots of people buy shooters strictly for the MP. Everyone knows t...
That's fine and all but everyone already has a cell phone and most likely a contract. Sony releasing their new psp as a phone would be a horrible idea. No one would buy it, I guarantee it wouldn't be unlocked. You'd have to get some awful contract with shit service. I live in asia, all the phones out here are unlocked. You can swap sim cards as you see fit, it's not like that in the states, at least with most providers. Besides, like the other guy said, the NGP is pretty big, ...
because that's a horrible idea
Shok,
Are you really that stupid?
All I'm gonna say is, find me an article with one of those developers complaining about being tired of making the same games over and over. Sony allows the developers who work for them much more creative freedom than Microsoft and Nintendo combined. Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, Heavy Rain, Little Big Planet, Mod Nation Racers, etc.
I know I can find quite a few articles/interviews about Aonuma being burnt...
Typical Nintendo fanboy, he acts as if other people never play new nintendo games, but in reality, the nintendo fanboy has probably never played the games he so quickly trashes.
Ratchet and Clank is awesome. There is seriously no reason for someone who enjoys mario to dislike the Ratchet series. The humor and stories are great. The platforming is fun and the weapons are genius.
If nintendo fanboys weren't so busy trashing games on other consoles they migh...
Disaster: Day of crisis was just that, a disaster. That game did horrible in the press. Captain Rainbow? There's games like that everywhere in japan. They don't get localized because no one in the states would buy it, save for a few die hard nintendo fans. Come to asia sometime, there's all kinds of kooky games that don't make it to europe/north america.
Nintendo doesn't make the greatest games, they just know how to keep their classic IP's relevant. ...
Bought it last night. The game isn't perfect but it's loads of fun. I'm curious what the sales figures are. It seems to be doing well. Hopefully the number of subscribers increases and other mmo developers take notice.
I could care less about the games on the list, except for COD and Final Fantasy.
COD is overrated garbage and is hurting the consumer. People are allowing Activision to nickel and dime them for everything and other developers/publishers are going to follow suite because they know it's an easy way to make money. It's already happening.
Final Fantasy, the reason I'm sick of the franchise is because it doesn't mean anything anymore. There's b...
I know what they are and I own most of them. I still need to get Kirby's Epic Yarn though, that game looks great. I just don't particularly care for the software the wii has. I do however, absolutely love Fatal Frame 4. I can't wait for the next FF game, I really hope it gets released outside of japan because I don't want to wait/hope for another fan translation. I'm also looking forward to Skyward Sword, while I don't really care for the art style, I'm still excit...
It's only January and I've already bought 3 games.
Mass Effect 2
Dead Space 2
DC Universe Online
I also need to get LBP2
2011 is an absolute beast. It's shaping up to be one of the best, if not THE best, year for games of all time.
I agree completely on the GCN. The Wii imo, is garbage. Yes there are some great games but I think it's easily the weakest of any nintendo console to date.
I'm curious to see what they'll do with their next home console.
that's about 1.60 USD.
I wonder if the NA PSN store will do the same thing.
I have no problem paying upwards of 5 dollars or so for a "Mini" but the majority of the minis aren't worth more than a dollar. I've bought a few and downloaded many others for free via PS+ but I rarely play them. Angry Birds is what the on the app store, 99 cents? It's 4 dollars on the mini store. There's no point in that. If sony wants minis to take off...
The world needs nintendo.
What we don't need is mandatory motion controls.
COD is straight up garbage. Plain and simple.
If you'd rather pay 60 a year in order to play an overrated game with 12 year olds and frat kids, be my guest.
I'll stick to games on my 360 and PS3 that are worth playing and don't nickel and dime their consumers.
I bought extraction on the wii. It's a pretty good game, a bit short but still fun. I haven't played it on my ps3 yet, still playing DS2, I'll get to it eventually though.
I love the Dead Space universe, I wish EA would put more funding into the spinoffs, namely Downfall and Ignition, Downfall was pretty awful and Ignition, that game ****ing sucks ass, it's borderline unplayable. The animation is horrendous and the hacking games are god awful. Hopefully the ne...
What the hell is the point of this article? Did the author just wake up from a coma?
"But the fact that Red Steel and other seemingly average fare like SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab and Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam got such prominence at Nintendo's press conference only highlights Wii's dearth of 3rd-party software."
Why does crap like this get approved on N4G?
