I wouldn't consider story driven dlc to be the ending that should have been in the game. They could go in an alternate route and show how the black guy got in kahoots with the survivalists, or show a different view point from a seperate resistance team.
The ending left the game open for a sequel, which it hopefully gets. Homefront is really short but it's still a good game.
F*** angry birds, it's a mediocre game with a broken physics engine. Yes the team has sold copies hand over fist but it doesn't make it a quality title. Console gaming is declining but that doesn't mean all games will go towards the typical, "play for two minutes then put down..." I got the demo, it's awesome. I've never been a huge fan of MK games and fighting games in general but I'm considering buying this one. It's great looking and is just plain fun.

The majority of previews i've seen of the 3DS have people saying that the 3D element is alright but doesn't add anything worthwhile to gaming.
People are excited for the 3DS because it's a new handheld from nintendo, not because of the 3D features.
I find it funny how nintendo fanboys label HD graphics as a gimmick, yet they rave about 3D...

I agree, what the players did was cheap but it didn't look like they glitched or anything. They just exploited a dumb design decision.
Maybe if they didn't release these garbage games on an annual basis they would have time to actually put some thought into what they are developing. COD is garbage, I can't wait to see it get run into the ground so gaming as a whole can more forward.
The old IGN nintendo team, matt, bozon & craig, would talk about this game quite a bit when it was first released.
All the previews i've read have basically been the same, namely that duke nukem forever is basically just a duke nukem game...Same style of humor, same "shoot everything in a room" style gameplay, etc.

just watched the clips, what's with all the color trails and slow motion, looks kind of silly to me. I haven't played a wresting game since 'revenge' on the n64, so I'm probably not the most qualified person on the subject, ha.

Well, It's one of those things. Atlus, NIS and other eastern oriented publishers/developers have shown that there is an audience in the west for such games.
They aren't always million+ sellers, but it's possible to make a profit and in cases like demon's souls, have goty material on your hands.
Plus, most of these games only require a text translation because the majority of the people who buy these games are absolutely fine having the languag...

3D is called out as a gimmick because on the 3DS, consoles and PC, 3D can be turned off completely. That shows that playing in 3D is unnecessary and doesn't add to the gameplay itself...yet.
As for HD, yes you can play in SD but you still get all the benefits of the processing power that comes with HD systems.

No I don't think millions of fans should be ignored, but rehashing the same game on an annual basis with minimal improvements is nothing I would be proud of.
As for SOTC and COD, I know that when the servers are shut down for COD, I'll still be able to play one of the best SP experiences ever with SOTC while COD gamers will be left with a shell of game featuring a subpar SP experience.
