I like climax and i'd like to see them continue to make silent hill games. Hopefully with the next installment they can factor in some scares and if they keep up the lack of combat that really need to switch it up because those chase scenes got really annoying towards the end of the game. Clock Tower for the psx is a great example of a game that lacks combat but will scare the crap out of you when the villain comes into the scene with his giant hedge clippers. Siren: Blood Curse is another go...
Ok
So me saying the software library for the wii isn't as good as the snes or nes is a problem because the consoles life isn't over. However, it's ok for people to say it's better?
How can I explain it better? I don't the think the software library for the wii holds a candle to that of the nes or snes. It's easy to understand.
Actually it makes complete sense.
In your rush to come defend the wii you failed to notice that there is hardly anyone in the this article that is making fun of the wii. You guys talk about having a discussion but you make it clear in your first post that you're just going to prove these "clowns" wrong.
You may not go into other sections and start wars but you and other users here act like bullies to people.
i'm sure people will say,
"HA! I knew you were a ps3 fanboy!" for this comment but sony WAS looking out for gamers (in a sense) with the launch of the ps3 price at $600. Yes it's an outrageous price and I didn't buy one, (I was waiting in line for a wii) but sony was selling the system at a loss. The system cost $700something to manufacture when it first came out. As for microsoft, the RROD is laughable and the reason I won't buy a 360.
I think you guys are getting ahead of yourselves. The wii has some great games but it's nowhere near the software library greatness that the nes & snes has.
you realize you guys come off just as bad as the ps3 & 360 fanboys, right?
I bought this game last saturday. It's definitely a solid game for the psp, great graphics, sounds, controls, etc. The game itself though is extremely short and simple. There's really no challenge whatsoever. Not a bad game by any means but it's definitely lacking in the sense that it's not scary in the slightest and too easy.
I think the new zelda will show if nintendo has truly changed.
ditto
trailer park boys is one of the funniest shows ever
I really hope this game comes out. I haven't been following it at all but i love film noir and i'd love to be able to play a game based around the time period.
Your post doesn't make much sense.
He's saying that the three of them should step back, take producer roles and let someone else direct a zelda game. He gave good reasons but i'm not gonna list them all because it's not a long article and is a decent read.
Do i agree with him? Not really, but I also don't disagree. I like zelda the way it is and unless zelda wii is a disaster, (which I don't see happening) i'm fine with the same people being the creative force behind...
I really don't understand all the hate for the ps3. Yes sony was extremely arrogant when it first launched but the times have changed. The ps3 is easily the best system ever made, i'm not talking about the software library but the system itself. It's the ultimate entertainment hub as far as i'm concerned. My ps3 has been nothing but good to me.
chrono cross wasn't all that bad.
i bought this game for the psp on saturday. It's not bad but it's really short and isn't scary in the slightest. I really liked the exploration in it but the puzzles were a bit too easy. The chase scenes were neat at first but became really annoying towards the end. I think think climax did a good job though, the psp version looks phenomenal so I can only imagine how great the wii version looks.
I'm glad too. I like the way wind waker looks but I want my zelda console games to not be cel shaded. I don't mind it on the handhelds. Call me crazy but that's how I feel.
I'm gonna buy it. It's not really being touted as a game so much as it is an experience. Considering that you can have the character you're playing as die and the game continues on shows that it's going to be more focused on story and less on combat, etc.
I'm looking forward to playing it. I don't understand why some people are hating on it though, if you don't like it, don't buy it. Simple as that.
nintendo had absolutely nothing to do with the power glove. It was mattel who made it.
What you described is something that has a big impact, not something that is the best.
It says "best innovation" not, "innovation with the biggest impact" (which would be the wii of course). Motion controls are faaaar from being the best thing that has come out this gen.
I think the best thing is the online services for the ps3/360. It's really cool being able to see what games your friends are playing, being able to send them messages, pictures and being able to have video chat.
Ok, you weren't agreeing with anyone but yet you see fit to call me out and no one else. That makes sense.
Here's the answer you want.
Lets see.
All these games that you guys love and make you say that nintendo has gone back to it's roots are games that mimic titles from the nes and snes. More often than not when talking about nintendo titles, the original games are wholly considered better than the later titles. That's why I think the nes and snes softw...
