Wasn't there a rumor that insomniac was working on a survival horror game? I have no idea if it was from a credible source, but it sounded interesting.
Me personally, I'll take any game that insomniac is willing to make. I never played any spyro games on the psx or r&c on the ps2 but with the ps3 I've bought all their games. They've become my favorite studio hands down and I feel like a fool for missing out on their old games. Here's hoping that the ps3 will get a R&C pac...

i noticed silent hill shattered memories is on the store for $30. I didn't see it in the update list and I don't think it was there last week, unless I overlooked it.

I think they'll start to turn a profit on systems sold sometime this year. As far as breaking even, I have no clue. I really doubt sony would ax the SCEA, they know there is money to be made and the ps4 is definitely not coming out for quite sometime.
It seems like they learned from their mistakes with the launch of the ps3 and in 2009 they definitely made an effort to rebrand themselves and it worked wonders if you ask me.
Hopefully sony doesn't pour too much money...

if so, that's really stupid of them. The psp is nowhere close to being a failure. Compared to the ds it's sales figures don't look extremely high but when you take into account that nintendo has had the handheld market on lock since the early 90's the psp shows that there is a capable competitor when it comes to handhelds.
i don't live in japan, but the area in asia where i live most people here buy the 360 because it's simple to mod and you can buy bootleg games for 2 dollars.

i'd take Luigi's Mansion over starfox. Ever since Star Fox Assault on the gamecube I haven't been able to get excited over the prospect of a new game in the series.
I'll be buying this for sure. The art style looks great and it's always good to support small development teams. Hopefully the game plays well.

No, the ps3/360 market is completely different from that of the Wii. The ps3/360 are trying to tap into what nintendo has done this generation but it won't work.
The one thing that might threaten nintendo is that if 3rd parties have a few hits on the ps3/360 with motion control they might ignore the Wii more than they already are.
I didn't even know this game was coming to the 360 or ps3. I thought it was a Wii exclusive. The next kart racer that i'm getting is mod-nation racers.

The spiderman game that neversoft made (it wasn't a movie tie in) was awesome. I had it for the psx. Not sure if it aged well but me and all my friends liked it.

i'm a mix of the first 3 but i don't get upset if other people keep dying cause it's too funny watching all 4 characters jump around on screen.
