It is a rumor at this point and that is all. Likely there isn't anything to it and it could be that the exclusive deal for two games was musunderstood in an off the cuff comment.
One thing with which I do not agree is that it would necessarily be bad for Rockstar. Bungie seems to have flourished since MS bought them and they have been limited to a single franchise. The idea Sony ownership would be bad is pure rubbish. If anything it would get them out from under Take2's less t...
No Infernus you didn't come across like that. I am a 360/PS3 owner - though I have been waiting 6 weeks to get my 360 back. It is just that once people always said, "Gameplay is more important than graphics." Having been a gamer probably longer than most, that was true and still is. But that has changed to a degree over the last few years and starting with Splinter Cell and the use of shadows, graphics became part of gameplay.
Cry if you want but bricks and fences are indicative of even greater graphical differences. Shadowing is going to be a major feature in this title and the ability of one console to render them a great deal more effectively is just the tip of the iceberg. The PS3 is shifting gears as more developers get used to it and learn how to harness it.
All of those things that PS3 fans say to you are no less true just because they piss you off.
Th chain link fence shadows on the PS3 version are very detailed. Examine pic #1. Now look at 360 pics.
Look at the bricks in the floor in 360 pic #8 and PS3 pic #9. The PS3 version shows an incredible amount of detail versus the muddy textures on the 360.
Who said anything about a game? Kojima said guest. That article offers no info or supporting references. Those clowns just made it up. Wait, I see. You are one of those people that will believe anything.
This is one of the best examples ever of "making crap up" Where does it say that Kojima is bringing a new project? There is a remark about forthcoming projects in quotes, but quoted from where?
Kojima's site doen't mention it, and neither does Ryan Payton's blog. Neither does Konami.
There is rumor that has some substantiation and then there is just creating crap out of this air. And for all of the screaming people, Kojima is more interested in workin...
This isn't intended as a fanboy comment, but when you do the math the PS3 is far and away the better deal. Despite all of the griping about the cost, in the long run it is cheaper, has more features, and works with more open source equipment from HDDs to wireless headsets.
I have a 360 - well actually waiting on it's return from repair - and MS is definitely up to something. They keep taking in circles with remarks such as this:
Here is a cluepon so you can get a discount. All you did was PROMOTE the rumor. You referenced the very post that gave rise to the rumor in the beginning. Crushing the rumor would be Mark Rein posting that there would be no cross platform play period. Instead you quote yesterday's news.
Nice try at stabbing Sony fans? No it was a poor try and all you did was help support the rumor. You g...
I understand what you are saying but wired controllers isn't a good analogy. A wire controller doesn't halt the experience. A wired controller doesn't lower the quality of sound and video or even cause entire game features to disappear in a puff of smoke. What we are looking at is an alteration of the game experience that goes beyond a cord and a disc swap. The problem just isn't the disk limits either. With no HDD to depend on, the problem is now amplified because textures that are normally ...
Within a year you will be lucky to get by with two standard DVDs . MS just reiterated that all 360 games will play on all 360s. This means no caching textures and sound on the HDD, no decompressing textures, videos, sound, etc onto the HDD. Two disks won't do it. So at what point in getting up and down off the couch will you get disgusted?
No, you just hate that more people are beginning to open their eyes about the truth and the fact that first to market means only that... first to market. It doesn't mean better gaming and when you ring up the bill at the end of the day first to market means you pay more for a console that is already becoming outdated and makes you pay for features another console has built in or provides free.
Of course MS can do what they have done in the past, which is push their console hard...
There has already been final confirmation. This neriser is an example and more proof why more than a test needs to be in place to determine news contributors. That last remark was irresponsible.
It doesn't matter how many times it is confirmed as an exclusive. It has already been stated multiple times. We have already seen that persons such as him time and again will go to any lengths to distort the truth.
neriser and his siblings have no business contributing ...
Haven't been to many message boards have you. There are a slew of people with issues screaming. I am one of them. I get a refurb back and it's DOA. Now waiting on my 3rd unit. Ridiculous.
It was only the threat of class action that caused MS to cough up the 3 year warranty - which still doesn't cover disc scratching or drive failures. Of course they now have multiple class action law suits filied on the disc scratching issue.
The issue presented itself because MS was not able to spend a sufficient amount of time to evalute the final design of the 360 in hardware form. Simply put, they rushed the unit to market in order to get in for the holidays.
The last comments about seeing if the PS3 breaks in a similar fashion are just wishful 360 thinking. The PS3 has been out operating for almost 10 months now. Many around the clock with Folding at Home. At 10 months on the shelf the 360 was already showing i...
Well that seems to be okay but did you watch the video? No? The guy says he spins facts - look at his comments about adjusting news on Microsft in order to spin it a certain way. He says he comments depending on whether or not a company pays him 'proper respect'.
