What is good about this game is people do not fall over and that is it. They roll around on the ground, try to stand back up, anything but a fall over like a dummy death. This is turning into a buy for me.
Already paid this one off. It just keeps looking better.
Ignore almighty. There is nothing 'mighty' about him except his IQ is mighty low. He has 6 posts since joining N4G and they are all to bash the PS3 or a PS3 exclusive - HAZE. Those are the limits of his finite intellect. Nothing is worse than a fanboy except a fanboy that is also an idiot. Fanboys = bad, retarded fanboys = worse.
True gamers like titles no matter what platform they are on and have the abili...
While I enjoyed The End, I actually had a more tense time with The Fury. Something much more dangerous about him. I was playing MGS3 Subsistence (I have the Existence version along with original MGS3) last night and I still discover things in that game. Here I am with the latest hot game for my 360 and I am playing a PS2 title on my PS3. Kojima definitely did something right.
Here you get stories submitted and approved buy the readers. This is a clearing house for news, not a worthless blog disguised as objective game journalism. If you can't see the ocean of difference between Joysliq and here then nothing can pry open your narrow mind.
It is joystiq, the most biased site on the web with ridiculous pretentions to neutrality. A recent article on Uncharted was reported and the remarks of the developer talking about the 1080p support were mentioned. A great feature. Joysliq punctuated the developers comments with 'Yay'? The word yay with a question mark? That was their snide aside? I won't give that site even a click of my mouse. Let them get their webhits somewhere else, I am not supporting.
Somebody get Baker out of a coma. Quit living in the past. This is Fall of 2007. Welcome to the now dummy. MS has slapped customers with their crashbox for 2 years.
How young are you? I remember browsing the folders on Origin games and finding plenty of extra demos. In the early days, a lot of games were shareware. That is a demo if there ever was one. So when you say 'back in the day', the rest of us say you mean 'yesterday. WE MEAN BACK IN THE DAY THERE WERE DEMOS.
There have been demos for similar titles before. Just Cause anyone? Often such reasoning for not having a demo is common sense. You can either have the demo or the game. The team is in crunch phase and concentrating their efforts on the full game. But I suspect something else here...
There have been disturbing reports surfacing recently that the game isn't all it is cracked up to be and the controls are horrendous. An initial bad reception for a demo could severely damage sales...
They are grossly in error. A $399 PS would not be launching today. Manufacturing doesn't work like that. Waiting to launch doesn't allow you to suddenly be able to launch cheaper. It requires the actual manufacturing to occur over an extended period before methods and techniques, based on extensive analysis, can be implemented that lower cost.
Such erred thinking believes if MS had waited two years they could have had the same prices as now also. No, that is wrong. The producti...
Sorry but that America's Army title is crap. I have already had a shot at it and it reeks.
You can keep trying but you had your two years of bragging now sit your ass down. I owned a 360 during that entire time and still spent more time on my PS2. Now the PS3 is stepping to the front of the line so either buy in on the next console leader or get out of the way.
Anyone else get the feeling Payton almost gave something away and then spends extra time trying to explain things well enought to cover it up.
"You play Snake at the beginning, you play Snake at the end" What about in the middle?
He said they won't be introducing any new characters that are playable. What about previous characters that were and are playable? And I don't mean Raiden.
The decision whether or not to buy was really simple. Conan on the PS3 or 360 for $59 or The Witcher for $49 releasing 7 days later. No contest and I don't mean the price either.
Broken? Absolutely. Getting stuck on Narrows for 5 games in a row that would have been 7 consecutively had we not been able to get two vetoes = broken.
No ability to browse Forge maps AS ORIGINALLY PROMISED = broken. Had Bungie said, "We are working on it" then I would have said no problem. But instead we get a response that sounds like it is being handled by the same lying smokesceen PR responders in the RROD issue. "...
