You know what is unnecessary? Self righteous and self appointed society monitors that think (wrongly) they have some divine or moral designation to protect us from their version of evil. Guess what? Not your place. You take care of your kids and stop interfering in our lives by imposing your limits on what you believe we should and should not do.
I don't remember an election recently that endowed anyone with the glorious title of game god so they could decide for all of us what...
With a name that would make Jack Thompson proud, perhaps you should be in church groveling through a hymn to his majesty rather than posting on an internet game forum.
Nice try Rowland but outselling the PSP by less than a thousand units hardly puts the PSP in it's place. You either hate Sony or else are very poor at the analysis required to compose a proper news headline. Considering the last story I saw fromn you I will opt for the former. Even the story you reference talks about the close competition.
Game Informer, one of the most level headed publications gave RFOM a 9.5 out of 10.
I don't give places like Gamerankings any credit because too many people rate a game a particular way and they have never played it.
RFOM has 224 votes from members there giving it a 10. It also has 55 votes giving it a 1. I have never met or heard of a real PS3 owner that had the game that didn't give it at least a 7 or above. Those 55 votes are nothing but jealous idiots with to...
Substance begins with the story line. Something more than, 'The aliens came to conquer your planet and now the former outcast has to save the world.'
Look I liked Gears. Own it, played it, beat it. But seriously the AI was gimpy. I remember CliffyB talking about how you shouldn't have to babysit AI. How many people that played Gears wanted to beat Dom's ass because he would go out way in front with no cover and get himself floored and start bleeding out and then you have to go ...
Environmental scenes shown in March of 2006. By the time you see a fly through of a level, tons of design and artwork have already been done. That backs the game up several more months, easily into November/December 2005.
They can have a game out every year. It requires 2-3 development teams working on ...
Ratchet and Clank wasn't done in a year. Insomniac has more than one team of people so they can work on more than one project. Come crunch time people working on other projects may pull off those to help finish the next big one or help meet a deadline, but multi title development occurs at most studios with more than a handful of people.
As a 20 year veteran of real combat I have put hundreds of thousands of rounds through an M4 and various other weapons.
You don't carry your weapon at high ready when running either.
We constantly train in various scenarios and movement techniques. I can reflex fire with an M4 and easily double tap a target at 50 meters while walking with an M4. Is it as accurate as a standing controlled pair? No. But it gets the job done. The accuracy is reduced 'somewhat'.
...and Nameless is posting here. What is he trying to tell us about himself?
Wait, he is Nameless. The lonely soul that travels on the outskirts of humanity, hidden in the shadows. Misunderstood, a hidden gen...BLAH BLAH BLAH. Get under a truck emo.
If it is that bad here have the courage to never come back again. But then again such resolution would mean being a person with a sense of self that believes in their own words.
It amazes me people still act like these failures are made up. I personally endured 2 of them - a launch 360 and one DOA refurb. The MS cutomer service had the gall to tell me MS doesn't produce consoles with faults. He then proceeded to send me two free play and charge kits because the new one that came with my HALO 360 had a bad battery.
No dummy you can't read. HALO3 has better level design as regards player freedom not more realism. It would help if you engage your brain before you open your mouth next time. Here:
