What you should ask is will they do snow AGAIN. They have done it before and their implementation was simply astounding. Loved taking the Evo out in that.
You're on point. We know they have been working on a project codenamed Matter since 2020. This is a thousand person strong studio. Who in their right mind doesn't think they have something besides Destiny in the hopper? Anyone that thinks they didn't show something to Sony, something no one has seen, isn't operating in the real world.
What is the relevance of your remark to the subject at hand? They are discussing workplace culture and it seems as if you availed yourself of an opportunity to downplay Bungie's importance.
It isn't a strike back. This has been in the planning since last year. Not a "We need to reply" type of situation. Hulst already posted a pic from last years meeting.
While Destiny will stay multiplatform, any future iterations are likely to support PSVR2 along with whatever they showed Sony, and it wasn't destiny that got them to pull the trigger.
Finally the voice of reason. Does anyone really think Sony paid this for Destiny? I have zero doubt they showed Sony something else, at least one project, that is as of yet unannounced.
Look at the way people responded to the Xbox getting this feature versus the way they responded just a day or two ago to the PS5 getting the ability to send screen caps and short videos to the PS app. Night and day.
Well, the PS5 has 4K recording on the internal drive. No dedicated external required. It has a 'save that' feature that doesn't limit your after the event saves to such a small clip. It also has direct uploading to Youtube and Twitter. It also doesn't take 7 button presses to start a 4K recording on the PS5. The PS5 has a quick editing tool and in addition with Share Factory it also has one of the best video editors I have seen outside of some of the very expensive professiona...
Technically it is the end of the quadriliogy. If you haven't played U4 or Lost Legacy you should play 4 first for story continuity. That said I liked Lost Legacy better because it felt more like Uncharted with less drama.
Ha ha ha how incorrect. COD sells more on PS because PlayStation is ALREADY THE MOST POPULAR PLATFORM. PlayStation isn't popular because of COD. COD sells more on PlayStation because Sony's platform is more popular. You really fail at comprehending cause and effect.
You fail. Hard.
And COD is diminishing as we speak. Your ace...is a 2 of CLubs.
MS are not going get a return title from Sony as a trade. MS needs Sony for this deal. COD, which isn't going to remain the king forever, sells far more on PlayStation. If they were to cut off Sony, put COD on Gamepass it would mean that the revenue that you were expecting to get from PS gamers would be gone. Now you are going to get some sales from Xbox and PC but the rest is Gamepass. You need to cover not only the cost of production but the missing revenue by taking some of the share o...
"This resin statue of Ivy from Soulcalibur II costs almost $600"
And???? I just preordered the second wave (missed the first time despite pounding the keyboard) of a statue that cost me over $800. Of course it's 29 inches tall and weighs over 50lbs but that is beside the point.
Short term memory? PSVR wasn't sitting on the shelf when it launched. That took a while. Then when the improved version launched it wasn't sitting there either.
Because numbers do not lie. PlayStation gamers buy Ubisoft titles. It is a common sense business decision. This is sort of a hail mary pass because they are not seeing the revenue they want from Xbox. It doesn't mean they are not getting profits, it means it isn't where they think it should be.
Personally I am done with them. Other than one title (and I regret that) I haven't purchased a game from them in years. I s...
It is 2022. The days of having to choose one or the other, graphics vs gameplay should be long gone. The one area that has continually lagged is AI. It is one of the reasons there is a new PvP survival game launched every other day. An environment, some mechanics, poof. It isn't that difficult.
But look what Valve did with the original Half Life AI. Look at the combat sequences with the Assault Troops. The AI was limited. It couldn't do things like run and reload. ...
"Indeed, that time when they meet to fight Voilodion Ghagnasdiak is so epic!"
Completely. Linking arms, the many who are one.
I always wanted a full tale of Roland and Durandal, whom we encountered when Elric had to retrieve Oliphant to awaken the dragons, and tie in his life in historic Earth as the Eternal Champion.
Bingo. Sony was running hard until Kena. Returnal was phenomenal. Iki Island was bigger than plenty of games and the best console expansion I have ever played. Ratchet and Clank...just the crème de la crème. But people have short term memories.
