I agree. Our game experiences today are the Supermodel versions. They look good but they are empty where it counts. It isn't just nostalgia to say the percentage of titles that leave a lasting impression are few and far between because the false narrative of the necessity of everything online only serves to give us shallow memories and gametime compared to what we used to be offered.
I love HALO and played a lot of Insider flights. But this store addition was a jolt. The progressions system is designed to drive you to the store and the Battle Pass. Really disappointing.
Just so we're clear, you are saying BOTW is an open world game that is chock full of different stuff to do, right? If so I have to ask, is this your first open world title? Because compared to other prominent open world games its pretty empty.
Only one in the just released trio I have played thus far is Vice City. The minimap's navigation is screwed completely. I just pause the game and look at the actual map because the minimap nav routes will sometimes route you through places you can't drive or take you through narrow alleyways. My biggest disappointment is the lie they told about GTA V style shooting controls. Good luck with that ha ha. The shooting in there is a mess. Targeting is easier t...
That's the canyon sized hole in your argument. You only look at things as to how they affect you. A bit narrow since this game has impacted the overall industry in a way you choose to ignore. bloop is right. This game, as well as Vice City and San Andreas left a huge industry shifting footprint. It doesn't matter if it you liked it, thought about it, gamed it, or bought it. The effect remains and i...
That isn't up to From. Sony owns the Bloodborne IP. There are rumors that From is engaged in a Sony exclusive which some think could naturally be a Bloodborne sequel but the leaks are actually saying it is a new IP. I also agree this will be more Souls like than it will be Souls different. They will certainly employ that open world and have some Sekiro movement but I expect the rest of the mechanics to be in line with their formula including stamina.
Leaving in TDM and CTF is not the same as putting in BR since those modes are already there. We are talking about building a mode from scratch. Completely different.
Its not about trying to block a feature. Its about wanting new features. Games are not developed in a magical fantasy land where time and money do not exist. Every penny, man hour, and resource put toward a Battle Royale in HALO is a penny, man hour, and resource not going toward something else. I would rather they take a different turn. Make a real canon based multiplayer. Let us have UNSC versus Covies or Banished. Let me play as a Grunt, Jackal, Hunter, or even a Drone. Let me drive a Blis...
In IGN's own video the car cuts through bowling ball sized rocks like its some weeds and nothing. Rocks flying that would kill you and the car goes through them like butter.
And scoring a game like its scored against other games is BS.
Just realize that using the word 'outcome' is equivalent to saying, "Put a fork in it. Its done." So that article the other day asking if its too late to save the game, well square just answered ya.
Yah that's my issue. Doesn't matter if it's Forza, GT, or Driveclub. Not my thing. Though once upon a time I did enjoy racing through the snow in an Evo. GT I think. But it isn't just me. Racers are niche in general. GOTY? Nope. HALO is still coming (flights have been outstanding) and you have games like Ratchet and Clank and Returnal that wowed more people.
He he yeah it's loud but I love it. Not going to set it up until everything arrives. I am on a Black Widow V2 right now anyway and most of my HALO playing is on the Series X.
I was holding out hope for some sort of physical Legendary Edition. My Razer Keyboard arrived Saturday and just got the ship notice for the Razer Chroma Mouse pad, Razer Mouse, and Kaira headset arriving tomorrow. Now if I can just score a HALO Series 2 Elite Controller but that is proving difficult.
Just wait until the first MS game appears that is only on Game Pass. They'll do this to drive people to Game Pass and once they succeed the evolved version of their original X One era DRM vision will take full effect. People supporting this business model that took the bait will have been the architects of it.
