My PC demolishes everything but those DX11 recommendations. I have a DX11 card but too weak to run it well, may have to get a 470 soon :)
By the looks of it I could build that PC for less than £300, around $400 (excluding DX11, an extra £100/$150 to get a GTX460 in that case), don't know where you're buying your parts from.
I don't really get what you're saying. How if you had a PC would you have spent more money (since you have a console anyway clearly?) Do you have to buy every game for every platform it's released on or something!? :S
I'm sure they weren't anyway near as popular on consoles, he may have heard the name in his youth, nothing that would stick with him though.

BUT Crysis is a sci-fi! It has futuristic nano-suits and aliens etc.

I'm a console gamer at heart, but if there are larger matches/maps or significant differences (apart from graphics) I may get it on PC.
I'll need to upgrade a little, my 5770 will probably run it medium fine but I'd like to do a bit better than that, might get a GTX470 or 570 if they get a bit cheaper soon. Maybe finally use that SLI on my motherboard.

I do think Black Ops is a lot better than WaW & MW2, CoD4 was still too freshly well-done that it can't be beat that easily though.
Not to be pedantic but many people DID write about that... There were hundreds of 'GTA IV was overrated/disappointing' and same with Halo 3. Very few with Uncharted 2.
Some people just don't like certain games I guess.
I don't know, Uncharted 2 was great but being rated 21/20 in some magazine makes it easy for it to be overrated :P
I thought GTAIV was fantastic, the first time I played it I got bored so easily. Left it for a few weeks, started again and I just couldn't stop playing. Amazing game.
