Oh my god people stop being so defensive it's pathetic.

This guy says a few positive things about Microsoft and all he gets is hate. He's even admitted there aren't enough core exclusives but some things they're doing are good.

Bigging up the actions of 1 company doesn't mean he's bashing the rival company.

He's not trying to take a dig at Sony taking a stance on piracy, Microsoft do that too and he knows that. He...

The 'douchebag' part wasn't directed at you by the way, what you said was a valid argument, I was just making a rebuttal.

And I know real time RPGs have existed for a long time, but they are ever more popular now than before, so I'm saying maybe the action element present in many RPGs these days is what grabs him, even though he's tried playing turn based long before (and not enjoyed it).

Find a few articles with either of those words in the article, a good 95% are google translated websites.

Ahh you can just tell it's a foreign website from the title.

'Stunning'; 'Amazing'; etc

It's not proper Steam, don't buy games or anything, just link saves to a steam cloud account etc.

It comes first with Portal 2.

It took me a little while to realise this was a complete joke.

I dunno about it being too text heavy. If you're the kind of person who enjoys getting really deep with an RPG and engrossing yourself in the rich world it was great. I love going through dialogue trees and stuff while some people skip the dialogue, just fight frantically then get through the main story asap.

I'd say they are missing most of the game and most of the point of it, but to each their own.

Why does that mean that? He could've been playing RPGs for ages but never enjoyed the slow combat. Maybe he's only just started LIKING RPGs over the past 7-8 years.

At some other people: Some people have different tastes, doesn't make them less of a gamer or anything, stop being douchebags about it.

They said console versions might be made (hinting at it multiple times) but only after the game has been released for PC will they begin putting time into it. So probably will have to wait till 2012 if it comes at all.

Actually ATiElite, some PC gamers (and some gamers in general) are douchebags and think that if they have a game exclusive to them it benefits them, it's just another argument to use in the platform wars.

Yeah when they show off the engine the character models are usually not focused on. This is mostly a tech demo where they concentrate on physics, weather effects and environmental properties of the engine.

Say I buy a regular non gaming computer ~ £200-£250

I bought my PC for £400 (gaming PC).

This was 1 year ago. I'm still playing almost every game at highest settings at 1080p with 4-8xAA.

I will probably be able to play at least medium-high settings at 1080p with 2-4xAA (consoles are equivalent to low-medium on a lower resolution usually with no or a post-processed AA) on every game in 3-4 years time, and then I'll upgr...

I've had funnier moments just playing regular GTAIV unmodded, the great thing is everyone experiences their own hilarious moment online with mates.

People can say all they want about VG Chartz but they're usually only ever off by 0.1 mil, or 0.2 mil at max.

I'll probably get both almost day 1.

I enjoyed DA:O more than The Witcher (I couldn't really get into the Witcher's more dated feel, will try again soon). Though The Witcher 2 is currently looking/sounding more impressive than DA2.

It's not like it'd make much difference DigitalAnalog. Te ME2 on ME3 engine hasn't been tweaked to ues the ME3 engine to it's full potential, in fact it looks exactly the same as regular ME2.

Same as when valve ported Half Life to Source, only made it look a little better and the physics run better. The textures and actual look of the game were the same.

Great video, really enjoyed it.

Mass Effect 2 definitely deserved it but RDR was just as excellent, it would be hard to choose between them :)

They said it might and not definitely. This is a confirmation I guess.

Oh my god, are you stupid? I can slap a new date on a 10 year old story and make it seem new if I wanted. I remember this back on GameSpot around 4 years ago, and they're usually slow with their news.

Brink is a full retail release game by the way. Usual £40/$60 affair.
