Well they can have actual data analysis (FPS, frame tears, etc.) and people can make their own conclusions. But fanboys spouting bullshit isn't quite as useful.
I personally enjoyed Black Ops quite a lot, not as much as CoD4 but I thought it was pretty great, that's after disliking both WaW and MW2.
I probably won't end up buying it this year, as infinity ward are not even leading it (and neither are treyarch obviously).

Well that's fine, but is the CryEngine as diverse? UE3 seems to work with almost any genre and artistic style, can CE3 do the same? I'm not really sure, we can't tell yet as all we've seen as far as tech demos go is weather effects, physics and military/fps games.
I'm no fanboy of epic though, don't even like Gears personally but I know that the engine is excellent, even after being so old little modifications can still improve it tremendously.
I don't think so kamikaze, they aren't going to force people to only have 1 account linked to each game on PS3, what about people who share a PS3 with their siblings etc? It's not fair only one of them gets to play online, that would blow.
Well I personally enjoy sitting back and playing on my console more (yes I know, I can do it on my pc too blah blah but I don't want to). Also I have friends who'll be getting the game on Xbox who I'd like to play with and stuff.
However, I don't want to have to buy another copy of the game so I can experience mods in a few months time, why is it fair that the PS3 get that?

That's where you're wrong, it may not seem so intelligent but the way the writers make Duke's character and his one liners is all very clever, much better than Bulletstorm's 'Oh i'll kick that guys ass, literally!' type of crap they think is funny and original because it is taken from tacky action films on purpose. Just because it was done purposefully doesn't mean it's any better than having bad dialogue accidentally.

Also, I'm a controller jockey and I tried using my xbox controller on L4D2 PC and everyone just hates me, the mouse is just so much better than controller for this one for definite.
uhh I can't get into Arkham Asylum for some reason, when I'm playing it I feel like I'm forcing myself to complete it.
