I didn't think the sales would hold a candle to Steam but they're not bad!
@Assassin
Spelt is a correct spelling, especially in Britain. It's just a variation. Look it up in almost any English Dictionary website.
I thought an enhanced edition of ToV had been released for PS3?
@Scar
What in hell's name are you talking about?
Doesn't mean it's the best place to play it.
Drawing started by carving on cave walls, but people use pencils cause it's easier to draw with them.
I understand but it's just he shuns arcadey FPS games when that's not really fair at all, especially since the game he's defending is one.
BTW I haven't played either extensively so 1 question - CS or CS:S? Which would you recommend? I played on a guest pass of CS:S and it was alright but nothing special, I was doing pretty well getting more kills than deaths and I hardly ever play PC fps, as silly as people may think it is I prefer playing fps on console with...
What and counterstrike ISN'T an arcadey FPS!?
I don't think it's jaggies but the very weird Anti-aliasing they've used here just blurs the detail and looks bad tbh. I'm an xbox/PC player and that AA looks bad.
None of them were headshots. Just body shot 1 shot kills.
I got into PC gaming recently, but am still probably more of a console gamer. PC gaming is great with loads of options. Such a stereotypical thing to think PC gaming is all about graphics. PC gamers are the biggest supporters of Indie Devs with their small niche games with basic graphics.
Don't pretend that that's an okay things to say... 'It's not as good so may as well be nothing'.
And that's not even true anymore, they're very even with some PS3 multiplats seeming better. I'm hoping to get the best of both worlds if I make time to handle playing PS3 and Xbox games. I'm fine money-wise but barely have time to play all the games I have as it is.
It is targeted at consoles.
As well as a new setting, new vehicles, new equipment and new weapons.
Now that is just pathetic. Don't make us Xbox players look bad.
I created a community game for Xbox. Xbox has no limits.
Done.
(In actuality, this isn't true but very well could be, what a stupid comment to make. They don't truly believe they have no limits, there are clever people at Naughty Dog, they're not as stupid as the sheep that call themselves gamers.)
@jammydude
Oh believe me if you see Dirt 2 in full DX11 it looks so much better than GT5 & so much more consistently. That's no fault of PD, on PC you are 2 generations of graphics renderer in front and 4-5 generations of graphics card in front. That is inevitable, the PS3 is over 4 years old.
As for the Witcher, he actually said The Witcher 2, which I believe does look better. However it isn't exactly fair as it hasn't even came out yet, he c...
"who wants to play games locked away in a room, so nerdy. "
Where do you play your games? In your back garden?
I am Xbox/PC player, fairly evenly split I may add. I play my PC in different ways, I'm usually talking to mates via Skype, flicking back to Facebook every now and again. Sometimes I'll hook it up to my big TV, sit on the couch and play with the controller almost identically to when I play on my Xbox. What's so 'nerdy' a...
"HDTV manufacturers use a so-called "standard" that uses the vertical and not horizontal lines to define display resolution so yes, it's 1080 through and through."
Actually you're just completely wrong. A TV is not allowed to be called 'Full HD' or '1080p Ready' unless it meets certain criteria, being 1080p24, 1080p50, 1080p60 and can meet a resolution of 1920*1080.
Therefore it used horizontal lines as well to defi...
"And why is it, that crysis 1, made how many years ago...is still the defacto game PC gamers point at for graphics? Yes Those PC developers are really paving the way aren't they?"
I'm no PC fanboy but if you knew about PC gaming at all you'd realise there are games prettier than Crysis these days, for a few examples Crysis: Warhead, Metro 2033, GTAIV (with mods) and more. Crysis is referenced all the time because even now it is better looking than any PS...
"Why Mass Effect 2 is Undeniably Better on PS3"
And this is why it isn't:
The PC & Xbox versions carry through your Mass Effect story and character.
