In retrospect, apparently some were sold before they put a restriction on the 3DS. Sorry for jumping to conclusions.
Ah right really? Should've got it while you could, win win situation right there.
Uh I'm quite disappointed. Was really looking forward to a sequel too :/ I guess we'll never know how great Mirror's Edge would be with its problems rectified...
You're lying, the offer doesn't work on preorders.
Nope, can't use it on preorder.
Yes! Looking forward to it :)
I thought the same thing? :S
The gameplay's just boring. Very repetitive.
It's convinced me to buy it when I was on the edge.
Duke Nukem will be infinitely better, and this comes from a young non-veteran gamer who never played the original.
@a_bro
You think blu ray discs cost $15 per disc!? hahahahaha.
Oh also, you can just store and play off the PS3 hard-drive, no burner or discs needed.
@BrianG
I get texture pop-in in the first 2-3 seconds after I have respawned, then not at all after that, what're you playing?
Keep stroking your e-peen.
I have a good computer too but I don't brag about it to randomers on a comments section.
Coming from an ATI owner, there's not much difference. If you're looking for a card around £200 I'd say 560 Ti or HD6950. In this case I'd go 6950 as it can be unlocked to a 6970 for 10-20% performance boost.
It's honestly not that much money, I'm starting become more PC centric in my gaming, and I needed to upgrade to a new general PC, which was going to cost me £200 for the desktop and £100 for the monitor. Instead I went for a £400 desktop and a £150 Full HD LED Backlit monitor. Now I spent £250 to be able to play absolutely any game, almost all of them at highest settings. A few like Metro and crysis I run at high-ish settings with low AA, but still quite the g...
Yeah I see your point but playing DX9 on anything higher than low/medium is way above the console version, and DX11 adds extra features but the real excellence in graphics can be seen just as much in the DX9 version, it's the individual settings that make the difference. Personally from what I've seen on my PC and my xbox (even when looking at multiplayer maps on my pc) the PC version looks miles better, though I still think the xbox version is looking pretty good.
I ...
Are you kidding? DX9 Crysis 1 looks better than anything on consoles. And this comes from a console centric player.
DX9 sure but then the PC has so much more to offer over the consoles in terms of graphics; AA, AF, better real time lighting, much better shadows, higher resolution, higher res textures, better bump mapping.
You could just buy the limited edition, register it to steam and download a free version from steam.
40 gigs is about 7-8 hours for me, so it's not that bad.
Not saying that I'm gonna pirate it though, I don't even have a PS3 or anything.
I suspect the same, and apparently the highest settings in the game beta are equal to medium when you look in config files, so maybe it was leaked to trick people into thinking they could run the game fine? I dunno :/
