LOL two voices aren't in the game so it's garbage? How do you get that warped sense of thinking? Go play your "better" and presumably inferior games.
Witcher 2 actually gets much easier as you progress. In the beginning when you're new to the controls and have weak weapons and armor, it makes it very difficult to beat multiple opponents. I finished the game before the end of the first week, and by the time I got to the end I was like "where's the challenge?" and then I played the arena with pre-set (crappy) weapons that you have to upgrade, and got owned again.
I did end up making it to 35 of the arena th...
I thought Dark Souls was a bit, if not a lot, easier than Demon's Souls. It was difficult don't get me wrong, but it could be that From Software knew their audience was bigger so that made it a touch more accessible, or it could have been simply because once I mastered Demon's Souls, the skills just transferred over?
Both amazing games of course, and they deserve the praise and purchase!
Very disappointing news.
I understand what you're saying. I'm not saying buy a Vita for no reason other than supporting it, and Sony. I'm saying that I have high hopes it will live up to expectation and deliver an epic portable experience.
I'm definitely a person that waits for a list of games for a system before spending my money, and for me the Vita already reached that cap. I currently own: Uncharted, Rayman, Ninja Gaiden, Wipeout 2048, Tales From Space, and Escape Plan. In the nex...
Yeah, I think you would. The fact that Castlevania has (mainly) stuck to 2D, almost ensures its ability to age well. The controls and everything work great. The action and music is phenomenal as well. I'm not sure if you're a Castlevania fan, but prepare for a beating....right after you figure out where to go haha
Sorry but Slim 3000 sucked. The 2000 is where it's at.
And as for waiting two years? Yeah, more games will be out by then, but why not support it now, enjoy it, and let developers come to the system and bring the great new IPs in the meantime.
Also, also: I am already a proud owner of a Vita, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
SotN is my favorite Castlevania. There's a reason it's so highly regarded as the best :)
I knew the very first comment would be about LoD! What an awesome game. I was smart enough to nab a physical copy when I was a kid, but I might just end up buying digital when the PSV gets PS1 titles haha
You were never going to be able to bring Aeris back! Let it go man. Kitase lost his mom I think, and knew right from the start he was going to have Aeris die with NO return. He says it in multiple interviews. That one fish room in the City of Ancients area is the spawn of sooo many rumors. Square wasn't rushed, they didn't get sloppy, they planned for her to leave your party permanently.
As for the moment I this happened in game, I was awe struck. I couldn't belie...
All three of those are great! Awakening is my favorite Zelda, but I just replayed the Oracle series last summer, and man are they awesome.
Also, nice to see someone paying respect to Monster Hunter. I've put over 1000 hours in the PSP titles going solo and with friends. Those games are so good I convinced four of my friends to buy the system and the game, and to this day there are no regrets!
Pretty sure the soundtrack is from Takeharu Ishimoto, which is the same guy that did Crisis Core and a bunch of other Square games. The guy is really good at making "remix" like songs, and TWEWY soundtrack had many different artists doing their renditions. I really enjoyed the soundtrack, but I hope this game isn't getting a sequel yet.
Why would you buy one that's a year old that still has yet to have a library of 10 must own games?
Not giving this hits.
But by outdated do you mean there isn't a "one button does all feature", or a way to chain combos so my characters never get to be on the ground? Yeah this game is as classic as fighting games get with all the added goodness of modern speed. Real button combos, real specials, light, medium and heavy attacks...so you can take that MvC3 bull where every button can use the same combos. That mechanic is for kids.
Honestly there are recap videos created by CDProjekt. So if you felt the need for a recap, why not check online, or under the extras tab in the game? I found The Witcher recap a few days before I bought it and while confusingly political, it all made sense to me. Closest game I relate the story confusion to is Final Fantasy Tactics, and I understood that when I was 9.
I completely agree with what Captain Qwark said. I am a newcomer to the series and was thrilled when I heard it was coming for 360. I've beaten the game and I think it's epic. I only felt lost for the first hour or so, and after that I didn't have a problem with it. I'm sick of games thinking I'm an idiot. Since when should your quest log tell you exactly what to do? That's basically the same as having a crappy objective locator. There are some quests that give no hint...
It's the new Wipeout 2048. It was my first retail purchase and I've played PS3 owners, and it works flawlessly.
Most of the games in the article the author had no knowledge about or interest in the slightest. So I ask the question, what does he like, and why does he consider himself a gamer? If people found Oblivion boring that's fine. I put 180 hours into it and thought it was amazing. If he doesn't like half of the games on here then his opinion of them being over-rated is a little biased. It is an opinion piece so that's fine, but really? That's like asking a romantic movie enthusias...
Not to mention the fact that most the time I'm playing a single player game I don't want to hear people talking. Not even my friends. Party chat is a great feature, but if you don't use it often, psn is on the same level.
Ishimoto is a pimp. I've loved every game that he has done music for, and while not as memorable as Uematsu's stuff, it's refreshing and masterful.
