You obviously didn't read my comment very closely. I said it was "mostly" the same people. The 4 Gods of Square did split apart, but Kitase and Nomura are still working on each title, even if they do have a less active role. Believe me, I feel the same way about recent Final Fantasies. I hold the old ones dear to my heart and they are just getting worse and worse. However, like I mentioned above, that is not Enixs' fault.
Also Vin13cent, I don't think yo...
I'm confused here. Is your statement complete sarcasm? You say Enix is the "shitty company" when after the merger, Final Fantasy is the franchise that started to suffer, not Dragon Quest. DQ stayed true to what it was, while everything on the Square side of the team started bombing. That's not Enix's fault one bit. I definitely did NOT enjoy the merge, but don't blame the downfall of Squaresoft on Enix. It was mostly the same people creating the newer games that crea...
Go to hell. No multiplayer in KH3!
How I long for thee!
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Remote play only works close though and it would be nice to play them where ever...but have you tried playing the psone/remote play with the Vita or just the PSP?
I love the announcement, but I really wish it was possible to release a patch that linked your PS3 to the PSN and read if you had the real disc in the tray. I have physical copies of all the best PSX games and I don't really want to re-buy them :( oh well. I have new games releasing for Vita and PSX games on my PSP. There's my portability.
If you pause it when they bring the inventory menu up, there are 5 or so squares in each line, and every line is a different type of item. One line was "Explosives" That could be grenades, TNT, C4 and so on. And if you're decent at math you know that having 25 to 30 items to combine can give you a ton of variants.
The escaping hostage made me think of MGS where you can tap the circle button to "reign" in the enemy. Even in that game you had different choices, so hopefully TLoU has that same freedom. I bet the choke hold Joel put on the first guy could have been held or pressure pushed to down right snap his neck, or kill him a little faster. But at the same time people don't go around breaking necks all willie nillie in real life so it gives the game that gritty feel if it's not possi...

The second guy that left after Ueda joined AFTER Shadow of the Colossus. He has no justified position in Team ICO, and means squat to the overall quality and development of The Last Guardian.
They had their success before him, and they will continue on without him. I'm sure social games are worth leaving a masterpiece for anyway :P
And Ueda did not leave the project. He would never do that, but he did get out of Sony's grasp even though he always stat...
Molypoo is a blowhard.
The Last of Us will be so amazing!
Very disappointing for a long time fan of survival horror. Visceral did the first two games right, but the third looks completely off key. I'll still keep my eye on it because I want to see how the story wraps up, but it might not be a purchase for me unless it really starts to impress.
An anime isn't anime until a pale girl is floating nude through cosmic space.
Looks great! Day one download for DrinkBox. I loved Tales From Space, so keep up the good work folks.
No way man. Somehow the word has spread, and nearly everyone I know that purchased a Vita has downloaded Unite off PSN. Whether or not it's because the claw took a backseat to the dual sticks I don't know, but that means it's more accessible than ever.
Monster Hunter 4 will be different than Monster Hunter Portable 4. MH (number) are on Nintendo systems so far. MHPortable games, are on Sony hardware.
The review score doesn't really bother me. I'm pretty much out of the FPS cycle now, but one thing keeps coming to mind EVERY time I visit IGN. How does Greg still work there? His voice is incredibly annoying, he hypes games up and then falls short on them and acts like he "always" knew they would fail afterwards, and he rambles like a 12 year old that thinks he's popular.
I guess that last part makes sense really since he's reviewing for IGN and the...
The first year of every systems life is obviously the poorest. It's been 3 months since the system has come out and it already has more games, stronger tech and better UI integrations than a handheld has ever had. Just give it time.
I'll be playing Gravity Daze while you're sitting on the fence wondering it the Vita is worth it.
I would really like to see a handheld update for VI. I love the sprites and everything, but I wouldn't mind if VI got the treatment that IV did and jumped into 3D models just to give the new generation a chance to enjoy it. It's a shame, but not everyone enjoys old games :( I think with a little better hardware than the DS, (like 3DS or Vita) the difference would be just like looking at the SNES comparison between the two. IV is amazing and as the first 16-bit FF it was groundbreaking...
