Yeah thd hate this games gets is insane and the lack of diversity is even talked about in the game lol. Where I grew up it wasn't the most diverse of places but that didn't stop me from becoming friends or just treating people with respect.
I'm having a ball with this game and I'm blown away by the audio and visual details in it's world! I think Days Gone will continue to grow its fan base as more people play it.
Agreed and I didn't realize people shit on it until I saw it on here. Hell I even liked Gone Home but I really enjoyed Edith Finch. I thought it was brilliantly executed!
I really enjoyed it! Got it when it released and again really enjoyed it. It's a nice change of pace!
Right there with ya! I was so stoked Sony kept Until Dawn alive because I was excited for what was shown for the PS3 but what we got was more than I imagined.
I wish Sony would've let them do part 2 instead of the VR games. Rush of Blood was cool but I think Until Dawn 2 would've been better!
I always thought it could be an anthology series and they are doing that with Man of Medan but hopefully we get Until Dawn 2 someday because it's one of ...
It's all good man!
Good read! Really sums up why I don't care for the business model .
It really is and I imagine most wouldn't defend it but damn it's an awesome game. Be different if it had a bland art direction, empty sterile environment and was unplayable. But it's not, no in fact it has amazing art direction and probably the best use I've seen of Unreal Engine 4. It has amazing sound design as well and the world feels lived in and is filled with people, Freakers and wild animals. Oh and the shooting and melee mechanics are great as well!
That silliness doesn't matter. What matters is it's selling really well!
Okay Fallout 4!
I've been playing for six hours and I haven't experienced a glitch. In fact I haven't experienced anymore glitches in Days Gone than I have in AC Odyssey or any other open world game.
Damn(Farooq voice)!!!!!
Or you could use all the data from the last 20 plus years and say PlayStation is the industry's best long term bet. If not for them we wouldn't have the quality, narrative driven experiences and killer IP's we've had since the first PlayStation!
Just stop and think about all the franchises that got their start on PlayStation. I wish every company had the creative freedom Worldwide Studios has. No one else has funded more NEW IP's this gen than Sony. Who...
Doesn't change that heading into its SIXTH year it's selling the numbers it is.
Because that's the main problem and there's nothing "Google" employees can do about the internet infrastructure in the US let alone in the world.
Regardless of the negativity thrown at Days Gone, it continues to sell and sell well! Funny thing is though the narrative that's been spun would have you believe everyone was just shitting on it but there's far more positive and neutral than negative. Bravo Bend because I'm having a fuc*ing blast playing through this incredibly detailed game!
Another game that has me excited! Be getting it for my Pro though but good news for Switch owners!
Interesting and I really enjoyed Origins and Odyssey so I'll definitely be getting this. I got Black Flag at launch with my PS4 and history may repeat itself with the PS5!
It's incredible at how much the PS4 still sales! It launched in November of 2013. Guess a great variety of games does matter.
Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice shame on you. That's where I'm at with M$ and Xbox. Too much talk not enough results for me. What with them pushing the kinds of games they push and their focus on more subscription based models and the kinds of games that all too often accompanies that model, no thanks.
I was 21 when Xbox hit and it was the first console I bought as an adult and I loved it! Got a 360 at launch but Xbox isn't the same company it once was ...
Ha hell yes! I wonder who else in popular culture has the catchphrase "DAMN!"
