No sir, it's gets defended because it's a really fun game. The backlash is happening because other games of this genre seem to get passes or at the very least don't have such a "fine tooth comb" approach. I'd say because it's a Sony exclusive it's getting the shit it is. If it were multiplat I imagine it'd get much less backlash. That being said the negative really pales in comparison to the positive. I wish other platforms had exclusives this level of qu...

Hey guys if Days Gone is bottom of the barrel, gaming is in a really, really great place now!

It is something so special and this sequel looks in. I love the more open areas and the detail just impress so much.

So man that crazy encounters. I ran into a Breaker and then a bear showed up and they started fighting. So I'm shooting the Breaker and a pack of Runners shows up as well. Holy shit it was crazy.

Another one was me running from a Breaker and into a Horde. The Breaker took quite a few but they finally brought him down. I came back after the dust settled and got me some ears lol.

Me too because I enjoyed AC Origins but there were some pretty big glitches in it. Once a ship in harbor started spinning and then shot straight up into the air and finally came down and was stuck in the ground lol.

Thd only glitch I've encountered in DG is once I was passing a dude at the Lost Lake camp and he had no body. Just neck and head. Other than that I've seen none of these terrible glitches and I've played multiple hours each day since release.

Last one I bought and regretted was Alpha Protocol and that was a decade ago. It's not hard to tell if a games good or if you'll enjoy it especially nowadays and I'm enjoying the hell outta Days Gone. It's a very fun game!

So interesting and with the black plaque and inquisition as the backdrop it's no surprise why! I've often wondered why studios haven't tapped into this part of history because it is abjectly horrifying! I can't wait to give this a go.

This game has had my attention for a while now and I can't wait to play it!

I'd be all for that but I must say Bends use of Unreal 4 is amazing. It looks like they used Decima to me.

Congrats on your baby! It's game world is just as detailed as TLOU for sure, which is pretty incredible because it's open world.

I love the hunting and crafting aspects as well as the gun play. I love how the side missions overlap into the main narrative. Anyone who enjoys action/adventure/horror needs to playDays Gone!

Cool, I love Abe Odyssey! I also loved Strangers Wraith and wish Thd Ballad of Fangus Klot had been finished.

The problem for me isn't bad reviews but agendas and biases. Back in the day reviews let you know if a game was worth buying and in most cases the reviewer reviewed games he/she liked or had experience at.

Now it seems some companies get shit on and other stuff get passes(when one game is flagged for what literally every other game in the genre does) and it just doesn't make sense. Or in some instances it's obvious the reviewer doesn't want to piss off a pub...

Just what I was expecting and I love games like this because depending on the quality and how fun the loop is, I play them on and off for long periods of time.

I'm deep into Days Gone now but I'll give this a go when I'm finished.

Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory were incredible! Especially CT. Those games blew my mind back in 05. I couldn't believe the Xbox could push visuals the quality of CT.

I've played AC Odyssey on and off for the last year and Days Gone is nothing like it. Nothing and it actually innovates the genre with many of its mechanics. It also has the most detailed game world I've ever seen in an open world.

Days Gone does so many things that others just don't do or have. It's getting tons of support from customers and is selling well. Where are you at in the game at the moment?

@P_Bomb that's exactly how I did it. I started clearing Nests and bandit camps and by the tims I got to Lost Lake I had plenty of fast travel locations and supplies.

I'm digging the story too. Hell I loved GOW, HZD, TLOU, Spider-Man, Wild Hunt, The Uncharteds and so many more but Days Gone is a really great game all around.

I'm so happy that in 2019 when steaming, GAAS and Battle Royales are hot, we still get companies funding solid, narrative driven SP experiences!

If Days Gone is bottom of the barrel, gaming is doing well.

Yeah I have no issue with reviews, heck they have no baring on if I buy or don't but when I play a game that looks just as good if not better, plays just as good and offers the same level of entertainment as a majority of games that don't seem to get the same level of "fine tooth comb" I call fowl.

Certain games get this treatment and this was almost nonexistent back in the day. I'm not one to say "oh back in my day" but years ago reviewers d...

It only gets better. I've only seen a few glitches but none like getting stuck or anything like that. Once there was a guy with no body just his neck and head lol but that's the big one I've seen.
