Yeah no thanks, I want no part of a monopoly. I'm happy with where the industry is at as far as the types of games that get made. I've had a ball this gen with killer games like GOW, Uncharted, Spider-Man, Days Gone, AC Origins/Odyssey, HZD, Bloodborne and more niche titles like Until Dawn, The Last Guardian, Shadow of Colossus, Gravity Rush 2, Tales of Berseria, Nier Automada, Firewatch, Gone Home, Vanishing of Ethan Carter, I mean I could go on.
There are so many ...
Yeah that puts it into perspective!
In any industry where it becomes a monopoly it becomes stagnant. Just look at pro wrestling and what WWE buying up all competition has done to it!
Now for the first time in 20 years there looks to be an actual competitor in AEW. With them getting a deal with Turner and trying to shake up the industry hopefully they are successful.
I want no part of an industry with one platform. I want variety!
Isolation is incredible and I too would love to see it get a quality sequel!
@Nitro I like how you're thinking! That would be a cool Easter egg but like you stated that's it, keep them separate.
I'd like to see Kindred, Big Game or Race War turned into films. Those are just three and there are so many more interesting stories that features the Yautja.
I don't want Predator in the MCU but I do want a good Predator movie. Less The Predator and more Predator. Maybe now we can eventually get an AvP based on the comics and it'll be interesting instead of being in Antarctica.
Take your time because that's made my experience so great! Spending time out in the world and taking in all the little details Bend has crafted. This is one of my favorite open worlds!
Yeah, absolutely, the London setting is great! This actually makes me want to play this. I'd like to see Ubisoft's take on mondern London.
Wow, thanks I'm going to check this out! Love little things like this.
Yeah I'm looking now when I kill humans and Freakers and the death animations are specific to where thd body falls and it acts accordingly. It's pretty incredible! I also like the dismemberment engine they are using. Some pretty satisfying results and depending on if your crafted melee weapon are blunt or blade the damage inflicted is respective to each.
I just had a Rager Bear chasing me and came upon a Screamer so I ran to her so she'd bring a horde and the be...
The context being COD is an established mega franchise and DG and is a brand new IP.
It really is and we were talking about the little details with DG and I saw another one last night. In most open world games like AC or what not when you kill an enemy they rag doll and fall down. Well last night I had three guys coming with bats and I took out two of em with my melee weapon and the third was hiding behind a tree. He stepped out and I shot him in the head with a bolt. He stumbled back , hit a tree and slowly slid down and was just sitting bent over at the base of the tree. ...
This is good but as others have pointed out remakes like Shadow of the Colossus, Ratchet and Clank, Crash etc will still have a place.
Turn off auto updates then if you don't want them to update in sleep mode. Or cut it on if you do.
Really great collection! I spent my childhood playing through Castlevania 1-3 but I never played the SNES or Genesis versions so this is great!
Dracula' Curse was incredible especially in 1990! Really loved the atmosphere and the different characters.
Put your creative caps on folks!
This game was incredible! I'll definitely be getting any expansions it receives.
I get the adage " you cant miss something you don't know" but once you play a game with HDR and it's implemented correctly there's no going back.
Do I play games without HDR? Yes absolutely but do I wish said games had HDR? Yes absolutely!
Yeah it was bad enough that I stopped playing it. It just looked foggy and soupy and I couldn't take it. Now that it's fixed I'll go back to it after DG.
I love HDR because it adds so much to games , well games that have it implemented properly like GOW, Uncharted 4, HZD, Spider-Man, Shadow of the Colossus, Days Gone, AC Origins/Odyssey, Wild Hunt and so on.
Once you play a game and see how much better they look you don't want to go back...
My game of the year so far. I got my brother a copy for his bday and he loves it. Today when I was at GameStop getting my sons a copy, two other people bought copies as well. Word of mouth is working in DG favor.
Jessica said that upon release because of the negative reviews they did this deal where whenever you bought a copy you had so many days to return it if you didn't like it. So I asked her how many brought it back and she said one. Outta all the copies they sold ...
