"But they're like empty threats. You can't get in trouble for just saying you're gonna bomb a building."
LOL
I'm sure you've done some pretty pathetic things with your money too. If not, you haven't even begun to live life yet.
I love how another article CONFIRMS this is shipped sales.
Everybody should know that Sony reports shipped sales anyway.
Compared to what, exactly? I'd honestly love to see the product that compares to this at a significantly lower cost.
Especially with that sweet, sweet split screen option.
Because the science involved in the "estimate" is still a science that has some precision? People aren't paid salary to take bad guesses. You don't have to care about them, but that doesn't mean they're suddenly dismissible to everybody else.
Huh? real shotguns have SOME range to them man. That's why they use them for skeet shooting and the like.
BF shotguns are only mildly effective at their max distance (like 100 feet...) which is pretty much how it should be. Not a one shot kill at melee, but also not useless at 20 feet away....
I used extreme examples to highlight my point. EA got their profits. They sold well over 5 million copies of BF3 already. They don't care that they were outsold because they EXPECTED THIS TO HAPPEN. They just wanted to show they can release right in front of this storm and still come out with profits. It's a testament to other developers and publishers, not a dick stroking contest like people on here think it is.
"MW3 destroys BF3, deal with it."

Pro tip: Don't try drifting every corner.
Slow down, release brake, take turn while feathering gas, nail it at the apex.
If you can't drive, that's your problem not the game's.
In recent news, Kia sold more Optimas than all of Ferrari's car sales combined. When asked for comment, a local Ferrari dealer said "Who the **** cares?"
@NEW-AGE
If you want to stay ahead of the curve, then why do you care what the consoles are releasing? Grab a PC with 3DVision and don't look back.
Gaming doesn't need more shovelware getting put on a pedestal.
People just broke sales records by buying double dipped code that was triple teamed with a gutted developer. And they paid top shelf price for it. And from a company that fired and sued the people that made the game a good game and not just a good sales figure.
That sickens me, personally.
Have you ever driven a car in Los Santos with a 4 or 5 star wanted level? Have you ever done that in a car driven by a DualShock 3?
Yeah, that's what I thought.
In reality, you're both wasting your time arguing perspectives on life instead of sending a private message to the user who submitted this article.
A little bit can go a long way.
No there doesn't.
People just need to start reading the reviews instead of the scores.
You took my comment way too seriously.
I'm not about to write an essay to express my opinion, so you get two lines to get a general point across.
And I'm speaking from MY perspective anyway; I'm not trying to appeal to every sensitive Nintendo fan just because it's nice to do. I'm not interested in it so 'm not going to praise it for your sake.
Dark Souls is barely like games from the NES days.
Those games were brutally unforgiving. They extended gameplay through frustrating difficulty.
Dark Souls is unforgiving, but it doesn't make you memorize pixel perfect platforming jumps in the midst of bullet hell with no checkpoints or saves......
Dark Souls is DEFINITELY a unique blend of new and old, just the same as it's a unique blend of Eastern and Western RPG. If it was all &qu...
Don't forget digital distribution sales.......
Steam alone has 4,000,000 PC gamers logged into it RIGHT NOW. That's 4,000,000 people that most likely buy games for PC, and most likely prefer downloading them.
Factor in the Amazon and Origin sales for BF3, and you'll see that PC gamers buy games, PC gaming is not dying, etc.
Who cares?
Whether it's real or not, it gives us NO INFORMATION. We already know it's going to have a map and it's going to be in Los Santos. This has no landmarks, no roads, no nothing.
Real or not, it's worthless.
Didn't they also patent a teddy bear and bicycle peripheral for the Wiimote a while ago? I recall reading an article about how Nintendo had a bunch of wild stuff patented just in case, or whatever.
When you start a videogame developing or publishing company, you can choose to run it however you'd like :)
