You're on N4G.
You should know by the time you make an account that the agree/disagree system means absolutely nothing.
They left Red Dead Redemption out.

I prefer GTA IV to GTA SA
I don't have time to spend 100 hours chasing cars in a GTA game anymore. I'm more than happy to get the cinematic style experience that IV provided.
Technically, PS3 will have the best controller for FPS, aside from PC.
If by "Denver or Philly" you mean "Fort Worth or Washington, DC" then yes that's correct.
It's not always stupid.
Some people can't commit both their time and money into every game that gets released. If I bought each version of each racing, RPG, sports, and FPS game, then I'd spend all my money and never play all the games....
Besides, YOU'RE the troll bringing the topic into the discussion ;)
@koh08
That's not how it works. The code doesn't just get highlighted and deleted. They copy+paste it into other games they're making.
Dinosaurs would be perfect to show off destruction, too.
Just an FYI:
letters like that have been sent out long before BF3 hit the scene.
hell, gift baskets are VERY common too.
The reason you've never heard about it before is that people actually have to try pointing it out as a negative for BF3 since BF3 is damn fine on its own. This sort of "selective snitching" really plays to some people's heads, as the talk over it shows.
That's like saying a game like Roller Coaster Tycoon needs good graphics to be a game worth buying.
It's just..... it's nonsensical.
Real gamers don't troll N4G, so I don't know what you're talking about.
Cliffy B is usually pretty lame, but I agree with him here. I'm not a fan of science fiction. Star Wars doesn't interest me, yet I could read the Mass Effect codex all day and wish there was more.
PS3 vs 360.
That's like arguing your Hyundai could kick the crap out of your friend's Kia.
Don't mind me, I'll be 20 miles down the road in my BMW
I never buy used games.
I either buy games during sales, or I pay the early adopter fee of full price.
It's my hobby, and I'm more than happy to support the industry the best that I can. I don't need to support the retailer, considering there will ALWAYS be a retailer to sell me games.
$2000 to play current games on high settings?
What a joke. My PC cost me $650 and I'll be able to play BF3 on high settings. Hell I'll be able to play games for the next few years on high, most likely. And when you all upgrade to the new $500 next gen systems, I'll only need to spend $200 at most to upgrade enough to keep up with you.
Misconceptions just refuse to die, don't they?
That was a really poorly put together sentence because people want to ride dragons, why not?
I've met people online that did the exact same thing for BC2 limited edition. They said they had a lot of spare cash, and wanted people who couldn't afford it to be able to play it.
And let's not even get into how many people gift Steam games online lol.
This guy has spare cash and is investing it into his friends. It shouldn't be too hard to see why that's not necessarily crazy.
It's still nothing compared to any of WoW's toughest achievements. Plenty of them are based around holidays, and you CAN'T cheat the clock.
Then there are achievements like Insane In The Membrane.... Oh God that one's ridiculous....
That's not idiocy, that's commitment. Who cares why he's doing it? Dude's supporting the industry much more than you are.
For that he gets my respect.
He's the "Lead Animator."
It's relatively safe to speculate that he'll use his best work as an example for his new work. It's better than nothing, believe it or not.
