Personal preference
And they've been including that for a long, long time.
Seriously, we can even do this if we want:

The visuals explanation is definitely true, but there's a little more to it. Oblivion had similar extra landmass included, and the modding community made use of it.
Much easier for Bethesda to add in a scaled landmass than it is for an individual fan or group of fans to mod it all in. Bethesda fans are pretty well known to mod Bethesda games, so it's not a stretch to imagine it as a slight nod to that community.

Because sometimes games grow on you. Sometimes you want to get the full experience. Sometimes you played and enjoyed the previous titles and want to give the next one that you were highly anticipating a fair shot.
"Why do you want him to just give up on one of the best series in gaming history? I don't understand you people. "
Uh, seriously?
Ok. How about so he goes back to work on OTHER games that COULD BE the best series in gaming history? He already struck gold with Zone of the Enders, for example.
You have any idea how AMAZING a new ZoE game would be? Probably not, because you're stuck on MGS, thinking that's all Kojima can bu...
Wait, hypocrite? what?
What?
If you're on either extreme side of this argument, then you're wrong.
Both are good games and don't need you exaggerating and embellishing their respective qualities.
The longer you play, the harder it is to keep a good kill/death ratio. Duh.
Actually a lot of people care what the popular mods are. Generally speaking, popular mods are good mods.
So yeah, just saying.
Huh? I've played console for longer than I have PC..... I'm well aware that it's all preference.
Like I said, the article does a pretty good job explaining some of the key issues. I have to scroll when I shouldn't have to, I have to go through too many sub menus, equipped items are in an unintuitive spot on their respective lists...
SO yeah, I'm talking about UI complaints on the PC version. That's what the article is about. I really d...
I'm expecting another one of these to be honest:

No, no it's not. The article does a very good job describing the problems it has. Maybe if this is your first PC game you won't have a problem.... but for those of us that have been gaming on PC for well over a decade?
This UI is 1 step forward and 4 steps back, NO doubt about that. Seriously, you might like it, but it's NOT an objectively GOOD UI.
"Whats wrong with the UI"
Read the damn article -_-
Yeesh you guys really this hardpressed to believe that a problem discussed in the article is relevant to someone in the comments on that article?
So he sold his PS3 version because of a bug that affected his game play, and bought the PC version instead.... SO ****ING WHAT?
That would still be a "slow day..." for N4G comments though..
"smoothest and most bug free PC launch of the year."
That's something you should say about the general public's experience, not just your own. Look up some forums, people are having a ton of CTD and freezing problems. I've experienced at least two dozen crashes to desktop, and I know how to troubleshoot. Not to mention all of the quest bugs people are having, like Alvor not accepting leather, Maven not following up on a quest, crashes when exiting certain d...
Each page has a different "tip." Just read the title of the tip and you won't have much spoiled and can decide if you want to read the paragraph on it.
Mostly just how to get gold, where to find this stuff, how to get this early, stuff like that.
The difference is that a parent generally loves and cares for a child on a daily basis.
A cashier only knows that "this guy is mad and threatening to kill me."
Context is everything, and this guy apparently used the wrong tone and facial expressions or something. I agree that this isn't such a big deal though. Doesn't need to be reported by any news outlet or anything, really.
Stealing is stealing. Gotta expect people to talk down about it.
